This is the only time ever I have been able to listen to how a recruitment was going. Never had any inside info on anything before. You can thank Walsh for this commitment when it happens. BM's girlfriend is going to IU as well, not that it makes a difference. Everything I heard after this weekend made me think IU will be getting their remaining wish list. He also loves Dusty, Michigan not so much. Won't hear from me on this subject anymore. Go IU!

I think IU could find someone to talk to him about the differences between IU and Oregon if it comes down to those two. I think that person would likely view IU more favorably than Oregon.

I think once we beat UCLA, they'll start packing the place. After the Charlotte beatdown, all of the home B1G games should be rowdy full houses. It's nice that the talking point is the crappy crowd vs the good football team and not the other way around like it was in 2021 and 2022. We can't forget the Cincinnati crowd, almost selling out a Friday night vs. Idaho, last year's opener vs OSU, etc.

USC is kinda QB U. Not to downplay Sunseri's connection, but USC has incredible QB coaching with proven NFL results. The big selling point for IU may be the chance to immediately be the unquestioned starter. Not thinking that's in the cards at USC.

If Julian comes to IU, the stands will definitely be more full, specifically to be able to watch him play. Again, IF he comes, it will most likely be because of Sunseri, and what he has seen from the new IU. JMO

He cannot be appreciating that Shadeur Sanders is close to getting decapitated as Colorado's QB. Though IU has looked good, he cannot be appreciating that IU has looked good in a half-empty home stadium. So far this year USC has been all that and a bag o chips. If NIL is relatively equal and he wants to be on the west coast.....?

I have to wonder what Julian thinks of the first two games USC, IU and Colorado have played so far..... I know we haven't played anyone yet, but the offense and defense has been much more impressive so far than years past. Again, I know it's hard to tell with who we've played so far, but I like what I've seen so far.

Tom Brady has a long, long way to go as an analyst. This isn’t a natural thing for him in any way. And I really don’t get the idea of paying almost 40 mil a year for him.

Not enough attention being given to JT making a couple bad reads and costing the team major yards/points. He absolutely should have made the defender miss for the 2pt conversion.

And mercifully it ends with a final score of 9-0. HUGE day for Layla Sirdah scoring 4 goals. For the match the Hoosiers fired off 43 total shots with 17 on goal and had 8 corners. Defense limited Lawrence to just 2 total shots, neither on goal and no corners. Despite how bad Lawrence may be as a team that's still a pretty darn good defensive effort by the women. We had some pretty big strong freshmen playing on defense in the second half. Makes for interesting prospects for the future.

This one certainly feels like a thing. Has already made multiple visits. Pretty gushy about IU in a couple of different interviews. I believe it was Hulls that watched him at an NXT event this summer when there was literally no other kid there with IU interest.

We all picked IU to win, but not by nearly enough. Some guy @LIHoosier won with a measly 112 pts, getting W Illinois' score right along with @cthomas @DireBump and @VPC. I remembered to add the average score this week like the BBall results last year. Since the lowest score is removed, the total tally is the better of the two games thus far. I cleaned up my original post a bit for clarity's sake. He may or may not go to IU, but my overall point is, having followed a lot of recruiting over the past few years, there doesn't really seem to be a lot of validity to 95% of the rumors so I take most with a grain of salt. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate the rumors and find them interesting, but some stuff is hard to prove unless you're getting it from the horses mouth so to speak.

FWIW UConn's fans don't seem to find Zanetto credible when it comes to breaking recruiting news. Quite amusingly, some of their fans are noticing Braylon "has a poker face" in all his recruiting pictures but that he has a "clenched smile" with UConn and UK staffs, so they must be in the lead. And of course, they think UConn is obviously the best fit for him, mainly concerned that IU will outdo them in NIL to keep him home. I'd be a little surprised if he doesn't go to IU but I haven't followed closely and don't really know ****

For those of you that ponder such things, we burned 8 of our allowed 100 recruiting days on the road Wed. &Thur., but had face-to-face contact with at least 7 targets. Hopefully it pays a huge dividend.

How about the dang Idaho Vandals? I remember when we played them a few years ago and Eck was pretty new in his tenure and the announcers were talking up how he was rebuilding that program. A few years later and they’ve got the Mighty Ducks on the ropes.
