I think there is a lot of truth in what you are saying. He may be in his own head a little. He definitely doesn't look relaxed out there. I've noticed that Cignetti seems careful not to be too critical of him when he talks publicly. Who knows what is said behind the scenes. I almost wish he would throw a pick, relax, and then be the best version of himself. And we all know he has the toughest job in college football following Mendosa.

I might be exoeriencing biased recollection. Has Cig ever been that harsh of his guys openly to the media/public? If might just not be his thing. Can't recall him really going after a kid. Its part of the reason I like Cig so much. And take so many snide remarks at SonyDykes.

Personlly I try to bite my tounge. These are for the most part 18-22 ywar old kids representing the university I love. Social media does it enough to them.

Well, since 1 of them won a Natty in year 2 at an at the time lesser program then the one he’s paired with here, I’m going with that guy.

I think my head just exploded.

Cooper wasn't a QB but an All-State WR who committed to Ole Miss, but he couldn't play in college because of some spinal medical condition.  His problem might be all the pressure he is under, but I never thought Steve Sarkisian was that great of a head coach.

I know, I was being kind of TiC about Cooper, although I always thought it was weird the oldest brother didn’t play QB.

I don’t know what to think about Sarkesian. It started to look like he had it figured out, but they stumbled the last couple years. One thing I’ll say is that UT may be the toughest job in CFB re expectations. It’d be like if IU basketball was based out of Indianapolis but if Indianapolis didn’t have any pro teams and was the only sports attraction in town. Outside of Mack Brown he’s their best coach in a long while and they even ran Mack Brown out of town.

Day confirms Sayin out indefinitely, likely the whole year

Just saw it. Really terrible for Sayin. Will be interesting to see who OSU moves forward with and how they do with the schedule in front of them.
