RaceToTheTop Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Syracuse scores and has there special teams in for the extra points, they go back and throw a flag to take the touchdown off the board for 'illlegal formation', ESPN rules analyst says it was a bogus call. DChoosier 1 Quote
cthomas Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Ryan Day has quickly moved up the list of most disliked coaches. Undeservedly arrogant leading a team I can never root for. I would have had no problem if the player last week would have run it in. But the victory formation fake was a d*ck move. go iu bb, RoadRage, DChoosier and 3 others 6 Quote

I'll be surprised, barring a National Championship, that he isn't fired after the season! Quote
LamarCheeks Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Just seems weird that Arizona-Arizona State is a Big 12 game. DChoosier 1 Quote
BtownStrength Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Syracuse needed that TD because they are not going to stop Miami. Quote
str8baller Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Think of all the people we likely jump at this point. If ND loses, it would be one more. I seriously think there is little upside to Penn State losing unless you really want a chance at a Big Ten title. I’d rather have a home playoff game almost guaranteed! NDs run game is one of the best in the country. If they didn’t split carries love would have Jeanty numbers. With that said, USC does not lack for talent. Kind of like Michigan. RoadRage 1 Quote

As of now, there hasn't been any team we jump in front of. Clemson was behind us. It's just that the team ranked closest to IU lost, which is good. Ole Miss didn't look good, so they aren't jumping us from 14. South Carolina IMO didn't play well enough to warrant jumping from 15 to 10 and ahead of IU. Take care of business with Purdue, just keep it out of being a close game plus have Texas beat A&M (or Georgia should A&M beat Texas) and IU is in. IUHoosierJoe 1 Quote

DChoosier Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Let’s say IU, PSU and Oregon all win today. We would be tied for second in the BT. The committee would have to twist themselves into a pretzel to keep us out. southsidehoosier 1 Quote
Hoosierfan1901 Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 14-0 Miami, Syracuse can’t stop them Quote

Some teams have to lose just based on matchups. Any non Texas team in the sec that loses will drop past us potentially and maybe Texas. An ACC team will. Now PSU likely will. ND could. We only need 2-3 to drop past us to get a home playoff game Quote
