Is this the sort of thing that’s limited to the plaintiffs or does it automatically have broader scope? If the athletes won in this case, would it apply only to the USC athletes and then serve as a precedent for other actions or would the changes be universal?

To be fair, he played in 3 total games over his first 6 years. I guess I give him credit for staying with it; I probably would have called it quits after the fifth year or so.

Unfortunately that’s the reality right now. It isn’t a surprise to coaches/personnel guys when upper tier guys enter the portal because it’s common knowledge sometimes even months before they enter their name. 

Not sure how to stop it either because it’s all third party communication.

Yeah, but this is the first time I remember seeing tampering accusations being thrown around in the media instead of just on message boards. I might have missed some others, of course.

Yeah that doesn’t happen in public very often. Narduzzi threw out some pretty scathing accusations about Drake Maye being offered $5mil to leave UNC last week and he isn’t even in the portal lol.
