Not sure the best place to put this, but thought it was interesting: Nebraska paying $20million in NIL

This is directly from the AD, so not conjecture. It's not entirely clear if this is only football or all sports. It says "atheletes" a few times, so I think it's all sports, but gotta think the vast majority it football.

UCLA is quietly building a solid recruiting class. They also brought in Nico Iamaleava. We lost Jamier Johnson to them as well. I won't be surprised to see them make some noise this season especially with Coach Sunseri calling the plays. They have a favorable schedule. PSU and OSU are probably their toughest games they have this year.  They come to Bloomington Oct. 25 and I see that as a potential huge game for both schools.

I checked out the thread this morning, and then was just doing some surfing on ESPNs website keeping an eye on the tennis match this morning when I saw that article.  I was wondering if they took the inspiration from that post.  LOL

What a great article. An underrated part of it that shows just how poorly we were thought of going into last season?

Yes ... "should be" favored against FIU and WIU. Should have taken the Hoosiers against the spread in every damn game last year.

9-4 against the spread (oddly enough one of our ATS losses was FIU) and led the country in both ATS +/- and margin of victory over the spread. There was good moolah to be made on IUFB last year.

Coach Cig wasn't wrong. He did kick someone's @$$ that game, in that stadium. I was there. It was awesome. That game was when I knew we had something special brewing in Bloomington. 

I'm looking forward to this season. We're about to make a solid point to all the doubters. Hide and watch.

6 of 10 on this list is an SEC school. You don't see IUFB on the list either. Bookmark this link and show it to any dumb@$$ that wants to talk about the how "easy" the Hoosiers' schedule is.

Nakos quoted this and made sure to note that IU is an honorable mention on the easiest schedules list. It’s insane how angry people get about IUFB.

Yeah, man, it's a bit comical for me. If this year goes like it should I don't think we'll see much of the media bashing anymore. 

On a different note, I think having 4 non-con games is the reason for 60% of the list being from one conference. Who knows.

I've never understood the purpose in having a tough non-conference football schedule. I'd like to have at least one game outside of the Big Ten that's a compelling opponent and will draw viewers, but from all other angles? Pointless.
