Should be noted that if Ewers were to end up at Oregon that they've already taken a quarterback from the SEC that was worse there than Ewers and turned him into the GUY.

Not sure if Herbstreit is happy or not, you would think as an OSU Alum he would be happy, but ESPN told him that he now roots for the SEC....so just in case, I am posting this because it makes me laugh!

Just the opposite -- he asked how many had been decided by more.  2 of the 10 have been decided by less, 8 of the 10 by more.

But we were suppose to quit playing and accept our defeat since Notre Dame had the game won with 5 minutes left in the game! Truth is, if we had caught the 2 point conversion, we could have got another onside kick and tied the game, but how dare our team try to win a game that Notre Dame had declared to be over!

Regardless of the CFB playoff results, each year the media rights are ~$22M to the B1G/SEC schools and ~$13M to the ACC/B12 schools and ND.

So each year ND is ~$10M less of media rights than all the B1G and SEC schools.  The offset is if they do well in the playoff, they keep more.  Less guaranteed and more upside -- they need to make the playoff and win a game to equal the B1G/SEC schools.  Assuming that is about accurate, that seems pretty reasonable.  Fundamentally, the B1G and SEC would not let ND get too sweet of a deal...
