And they make terrible arguments that “the only two ranked teams IU has played have beat them” as if playing a top 25 team at home is the same as playing a featured game on the road against two top 5 teams.

The guy that pisses me off the most is Herbstreit! I really cannot stand that guy, the way he makes all of those stupid faces when he is listening to Al Michaels to give the impression he really gives a **** what Al is saying! Pompous know it all...I still say Notre Dame is a lot better than people give them credit for, I'm no fan and usually root against them, but I wouldn't be too upset if they won it all!

One last thing while I am venting, that 98 yard run was a fluke play, ND did not run all over us, you take that play, that one long pass down to about the 2 yard line, and the FG at the end of the first half that they should never have gotten because grounding should have been called....that's 17 points. We stunk the place up, it happens, but we deserved our shot, we earned it!

Herbstreit’s a freaking loser. Dude spent all weekend twerking for the SEC, watched Tennessee get throttled live, and then went right back to “I don’t want to hear about wins” immediately after. Utter clown behavior.

BYU kicks field goal to take 10-0 first-quarter lead.

Then recovers a surprise onside kick.

Don't know why more teams don't do that. Nearly all the front lines of receiving teams start to retreat once the kicker approaches the ball.

Great tactic.

Looks like o coach Prime is gettin “Primed”!  Lol

This might be recency bias, but I don’t know if I have ever heard announcers more shamelessly shill a program than these guys have shilled Colorado in a beat down loss. And to top off their game-long snuggling, Prime leaves Shadeur in the game to stat pad, he throws a 3 yd TD pass to cut the lead to 24 with under 2 mins left against BYU’s subs and the play by-play guy proceeds to tell us how super impressed he would be if he were the Giants brass that Shadeur is still in there competing. I swear to God.

Totally agree. I think it’s hard for us to remember these media guys make their money on clicks and headlines. They NEED “coach Prime” to be relevant because it is an easier story than other programs with status quo coaching staffs. Colorado was never a real college football story. They were and will be, a celebrity story. Which will get clicks and headlines. Until it doesn’t. Which I imagine will be soon. Just because you’re a hall of fame kickoff returner doesn’t make you a hall of fame coach. And you can only recruit your own kids once, just ask Fran McCaffery up in Iowa. He’ll stay around a couple more years. He’ll pull portal transfers on the promise of getting them paid. But ultimately he’ll jump ship for a pro job before his social media spotlight dims and he has to actually coach and be judged on your results and not your appearances on ESPN. That’s my expectation.
