yep NCAA whipped non power teams in a bad way. I think games are much more interesting and TV ratings will show it. Good play in games.

Yep. After looking at it some more I still think we need to go to an Elite 8 if Johnson is back. We have Final Four talent and a week ago I was hoping the 1 seed we would get was UNC. Styles make fights and UK/UNC will run with IU. Having UK and UNC along the oth also keeps the guys focused. Just got to be ready for Chattanooga and then see how the chips land.

I am not optimistic. At least UK isn't known to slow it down, which is IU's downfall. I still haven't forgotten Wichita State's 8 uncontested layups. Even if they could miraculously beat UK, UNC is out of the question. They are well coached.

UNC is tough but not unbeatable (if we get there...).
I am not as convinced as you about Roy. I do not recall him doing much unless he had a really loaded team.
UNC players have an advantage in that they do not have to worry about homework or going to any classes.

If it does come down to us and Kentucky I think we will definitely be the hungrier team. Guys like Yogi, Colin, and Z know what it means to be a Hoosier and what this rivalry means.....unlike the kids from Burger Boy U down in Lexington...

With this draw there is not much danger of playing down to the competitions level. Can we play up on a neutral floor? No one in the country is picking IU in the 16 but us. That could be an advantage for us. I say we go out and ruin 7 million brackets next week. It's tough, but possible. We all knew we'd have to play a 1 seed eventually or another equally tough team earlier. Shouldn't matter if it's right away. Get by UNC and I believe we can walk into the final 4.

Honestly not trying to sugarcoat it but we play better against better teams. I am curious to see how we come out as the underdog again. We just seem to play looser in that role.

Seeding or not Crean shouldn't be given a pass. This is a doable bracket with our makeup. There is no Virginia or MSU. IMO

Exactly. Anyone who doesn't think that selection show or the seedings aren't picked for ratings should look at the time and money will spend on this.
