(2018) PG Darius Garland to Vandy

After hearing that comment from Winston Garland the only reason I could see for Darius to want CAM to come and make another visit is so that he can commit in person.

Haven’t been confident in Garland but if Shittu is deciding now and it’s Vandy, any faith I had of him coming to IU is gone.

Garland has said how many times that his decision is his own and is not tied to anyone else? Everyone relax. Until he commits there is no reason to think we are anything but neck and neck regardless of if Shittu commits to Vandy.

This changes everything. Garland was affraid of getting to Vandy and not getting the notice as other 5 stars. Simmons and Fultz were top recruits and Garland tho a 5 star would get enough, but was a concern. At work so I will hear more throughout the day as you guys will I am sure.

Winston has said that Darius has known for weeks...do you think he told Shittu that he is going to go to Vandy and that made Shittu cancel his visit and basically commit to Vandy and the visit Darius wants with Archie is to thank him for everything but to tell him he is committing to Vandy? He seems like a class act kid and wouldn't want Drew or Archie finding out where he is going to play via twitter/video announcement. **This is all just my opinion and a guess**

I hope none of this is true, but i feel like we just took a giant step back

1) If Darius knew for weeks and Shittu decision was going to be changed due to Darius's decision, then why schedule the UNC visit to begin with?

2) Why have Archie fly out just to tell him no?
