I'm not mocking you, it's just that very early on, I think the word was he was only 5'10" and now we're up to maybe 6'2". It's all just a part of the process and it's humorous. Nothing more than that. Haha no worries. It was just a rough estimate on my part from a quick eyeballing, but if he's shorter than 6' when he gets here I would honestly be surprised. mdn82 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Believe me they need ESPN a lot more than ESPN needs DG or his family. Meh, do they really though? Is ESPN providing them with something Scout or any other recruiting service can't?Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Josh Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 The best part about this thread wasn't the emotions out of some posters. You see that in most recruitments. This thread gave us a new term. "Fact based opinions". The ones who assured us Darius was a lock based upon fact based opinions and discredited anybody who said he was going to Vanderbilt as trolls....that was the goods. Thanks all lol. Class of '66 Old Fart, HoosierTrav, WayneFleekHoosier and 1 other 4 Quote

TXHoosierDaddy Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 I like optimism but hopefully we can stop with the statements like "we have this one in the bag" and "he's ours" until we actually secure a commitment from a recruit. Also, saying well this one poster thinks we are going to get him so we are definitely getting him. With that said, I really hope we get Romeo. This program needs a game changer bad not just for the roster but for public perception! woodenshoemanHoosierfan and Toothdr 2 Quote

The reality is no one knew anything- that's about all I had on decent word. Then I come on here and posters have him locked to IU based on what they know. Frankly, some accounts got so detailed it was very obviously made up. Strange thing to do.. Now people are blaming a reporter for misleading them? Be mad at yourself for making assumptions about what this or that meant, and be mad at yourself for falling for fellow posters BS. "The biggest thing that stands out about Anderson on the offensive end is his shooting ability. When he gets his feet set and shoulders square, he is an elite outside shooter with unlimited range because of his strength. Anderson flicks his wrist and has great rotation on the ball. When he is squared up, his shot is rarely off to the left or right." http://inbasketballsource.com/recruiting-news/2122-scouting-report-2018-g-f-damzei-anderson CR3AMnCR1MS0N 1 Quote
