AKHoosier Posted January 13, 2018 Posted January 13, 2018 Not sure where else to put this, so I'll put it here since it's relevant to Romeo. I'm watching Darius Garland in the Tournament of Champions on CBS Sports Network and it pains me to say, he's really good. In the 4th quarter and he's got 35 points against La Lumiere. But it also occurs to me, there's no way another scorer who wants to be featured in an offense like Romeo Langford would mesh well with Garland. Darius is so used to being the guy, throwing up tons of shots, I just can't see Romeo wanting to play with him. It'd be different if Romeo was a 6'9" post player, but they're both back court players. I just don't see him playing at Vandy with Garland. thebigweave, Hollywood Mike Miranda, CR3AMnCR1MS0N and 4 others 7 Quote

These kids are also used to sharing the rock with all the summer league and AAU teams and such. If he's only planning on being in school one year anyway, but you may be on to something. I hope you're right. Quote

He'd get to watch the Darius Garland show for a season while barely making the tournament if he's lucky. Quote

MikeRoberts Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Coach sS said earlier in the week that Kansas is backing off, but they did send an assistant to see Romeo earlier this week. I am thinking it is still Vandy. Something stinks.SS is a hack. Why would Kansas or any school for that matter back off of a top 5 player when they are in the final 3? You don't and that is why they are continuing to send coaches to see him. Edit, heard calhouns health may be impacting this one Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app mdn82 and Iugradman 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted January 14, 2018 Posted January 14, 2018 Honest question. Do we really believe Romeo doesn't have all the info he needs at this point to make a decision? Unless he picks Kansas and wants to see who goes pro. Seems like all the info is there for a choice now to me. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners MikeRoberts 1 Quote
