MikeRoberts Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 I tried telling people multiple times he wasn’t as good as his ranking. Did I want him? Sure because he had potential but looking back I’m glad he chose UK. Hopefully I don’t get haunted by those words if IU would play UK in the tournament. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersHe’s very talented and we would have been lucky to have him. This reeks of sour grapes.I am not rooting for him because I am jealous UK got him and we didn’t but no doubt he would have helped us Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app 323SGrant and Maedhros 2 Quote

He had a great senior year and I would have been happy he came. I am not sure Indiana or Kentucky was his best spot he could have ended up with. I also was given pause last year when he struggled against Galloway. I said the upside is there but that only goes so far.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appHis shot hasn’t been great but if he was 3 games into his IU career and people were trashing him already people would be up in arms. He’s going to be a solid contributor on a tournament team, not sure what more you can ask for from a fringe 5 star freshmen Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

Stuhoo Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Hurt his calf over a month ago. Was supposed to miss about a week. About ten days after the “injury” he was a full participant and apparently played well in UK’s Pro Day. Has played 5-5 and in drills in practice since then. Over a month later, he is now 2-3 weeks away from playing according to Calislimy. Something is up, and it seems like it is more than a calf injury. Brass Cannon Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 The boys who marry their sister cousins are still trashing him for call out Rupp for being racist. That would be like us trashing a player for saying Knight had anger management issues. Quote

Just a hunch, but those boys who marry their sister cousins might have a problem with someone who literally admits to being completely ignorant on a subject, yet catapulted himself to the forefront of knee-jerk reactions and fake do-goodism by declaring his support for the endlessly slippery slope of changing a building's name because "muh feelings". Popular Post Stuhoo Posted December 1, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 1, 2020 Brooks condemned Adolph Rupp before he had done his due diligence to know whether he was a racist. If he had already take the time to educate himself he would have learned that... Adolph Rupp was a racist. He fit in the SEC culture of his time jonz44, Hoosier Roots, Demo and 6 others 9 Quote

IU is in the process of changing all things "Jordan" on the Bloomington campus. Just an FYI thebigweave 1 Quote
Brass Cannon Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Yeah the Kentucky fans are upset because Brooks spoke on a subject he wasn’t well versed in. And not in a knee jerk reaction to defend a racist. Surely it was they were offended by an unsound argument. Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 I think Keion is a good kid, but man, drama follows him around. I think Dad is a huge part of that. Let Keion be Keion. FWIW, I’d still take him on IUBB if bridges weren’t burned post recruitment. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Kepner, HoosierAloha, Stuhoo and 1 other 4 Quote
