Bailey7878 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Thing is cal can basically can come in at the last minute and get these guys. The fack brooks keep waiting just killed iu. Romeo waiting helped us This was the opposite. Fred was right this is going to be a rebuild.Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Quote

Bailey7878 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Its also a shame UK had to fall to its 3rd or 4th choice in order to nab Keion. That's when you know you've got recruiting on lockdown. True any of those guys pick kentucky and brooks comes to iu. Cal lost out on alot of guys Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk Class of '66 Old Fart 1 Quote

Hillsdale87 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 We currently have the 42nd rank recruiting class next year, losing Romeo and Morgan. Next year is gonna be rough.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile appWell with only 3 scholarships to fill we were never going to have a top class because those rankings factor quantity and quality. We have 2 good players coming in and will likely get another. Sucks to lose out on Brooks, but losing to the best recruiter in college basketball does not say anything about Archie's recruiting momentumSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk thebigweave, Deserthoozier and woodenshoemanHoosierfan 3 Quote
theriverpilot Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 No one in his home state will give a damn what he does from this point forward. I guess that doesn’t bother him. He will fade into obscurity a la Harris, Teague, Lyles, Wilkes, etc.His message might sound harsh but there’s some truth to it. There’s no real legacy to leave at UK like he could have at IU. But that is my wish, not Keion’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ray and Iugradman 2 Quote

Screw that, go get us some players that aren't focused on their "brand", their "ego", and their NBA dreams but want to bust their ***** improving their game and winning games. Archie got the last 2 Indiana Mr. Basketball’s and people are saying he’s losing recruiting momentum. You guys need to get a grip and try to think rationally. We don’t get ANY of the current Indiana recruits the last two years with the previous staff. Rookie33, theriverpilot, Walking Boot of Doom and 5 others 8 Quote

Bigred3588 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Checked the Kentucky board and looked at about 15 posts. Three of them were “not sure he’ll be a good fit.” ”how tall is he? Don’t care to look it up.” ”What position does he play?” ray, Iugradman and Napleshoosier 2 1 Quote

finky Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 If he is only going to be in College for a year, why not go to a program where you get to play in the NCAA tourney. Good decision. Josh 1 Quote

KzooHoosier82 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 The hoopla around this kid was and is out if control. He thinks he’s an NBA talent and that couldn’t be farther from the truth at this stage in his life/skill set. Cal sold him on a bill of goods after he missed out on his top targets. KBJ will probably go on to regret this decision and end up like Charles Matthews, transferring out and hoping for an eventual 2nd round draft pick. Best of luck to him. Any kid who strongly considers going to UK or Purdue isn’t a Hoosier. Iugradman, Jam, Bowhunter and 1 other 4 Quote

Ryno6284 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 I honestly wanted TJD more the Keion before TJD commited. This isn't a big deal people. We are going to get talent that is here for 2-3 years instead of what we saw with Romeo this year. Now whether or not that can hang with the likes of UK or Duke, remains to be seen!
