VO5 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 That was fun. So funny that I was about to turn it off at 15-4 Josh and hoosierdogg 2 Quote
BGleas Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Since I gave Yogi a hard time about his D early in the game thread, I have to say now that after that timeout he was phenomenal! It's also nice to see us putting it on some teams, but not just because we're hot from 3, but because we're playing really good D, attacking the basket, moving the ball, cutting down on turnovers, etc. Happydaze and HoosierAloha 2 Quote
ThompsonHoosier Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Credit Crean as well for getting these guys focused. Glad he took the early time out to settle them down and get them to play defense! IndyHutch and ALASKA HOOSIER 2 Quote
Josh Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 How about our defense in the Big Ten...wow. They also deserve a ton of credit for this win. This team is fun. IndyHutch and BGleas 2 Quote

Stuhoo Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 The last time a completely unheralded, underrated kid had this kind of immediate impact at IU? VO (not statistically, but as a culture changer). Before that? Probably Haston. Before that? Calbert. IndyHutch 1 Quote
TheWatShot Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Feels a lot like the Purdue game from three years ago. I'm hoping the PSU game isn't like what happened about a week later. Quote
Josh Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 I'm getting greedy, but not a peep on our game on SportsCenter... Yeah....no postgame sucks. Especially since I took a nap today in order to stay up late. (young people shut up and get a job) Anybody got a link to post game pressers? Quote
Brass Cannon Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Anybody have updated conference offense and defense? Quote
LockdownD Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Enjoyable game tonight. I think I'll watch it again on Big Ten Network at 5:00 tomorrow afternoon. HoosierAloha and Josh 2 Quote

Hovadipo Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 A huge road blowout win against the #3 team in the conference. BLOWOUT. Awesome. Yogi is fun to watch this year. This year has made me love him. I mentioned it in another thread...Hovadipo mentioned it once...now it's been said a few times on this board...is OG a one and done? There are a few plays every game where he's insanely good. Bad Troy is really bad. Thank goodness for foul trouble. What happened to Rob Johnson since Big Ten season started? Yikes. Great coaching by Crean too. Excellent blowout win. 9-1 baybee!!!! Just for the record...my OG comment was definitely made in jest. He's the man, but I don't actually see him leaving. Fulkme15 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 He's one of my favorite players on the team, and the biggest surprise in my opinion, but those saying OG is a potential 1 and done need to lay off the kool-aid just a tad. IndyHutch, Napleshoosier and Andrew_114 3 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Well done Hoosiers! Great play and complete games from RoJo (great shooting and D), Yogi (9 assists), and OG (double figures and mean D). TB, Hartman Z3 and Morgan had some good work as well. Bad Troy showed up first---but then good Troy arrived for some nice stretches. Solid return to Ann Arbor for Max. Loved his opening 3 announcing he was back! 7 boards tonight. Another 50% shooting night---but it was the defense that led to 25 straight first half points without a Michigan basket. OG was huge in making that happen. He was everywhere and covered Irvin like a blanket. Solid win---let's go get Penn State! HoosierAloha 1 Quote
Josh Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Just for the record...my OG comment was definitely made in jest. He's the man, but I don't actually see him leaving. Mine was too. The first one was anyway. But now we need to embrace it, it's all over this board. What's the new rule for kids testing the NBA but coming back? If he doesn't at least test it, he's nuts. 716e11th Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Interesting that yogi, RJ, and OG accounted for > 50% of our points. Everyone else was in single digits. I think we left a lot of points out there, especially since we were 10-33 on 3-pointers. Good defense always travels well and was the key to us blowing them out. We need to find that sports psychologist Fife used to help NZ get and stay back on track. IUsafety 1 Quote
