You think? Perhaps they'll wait it out till July so it's less money? Or maybe Crean will step-down? 

It's just my opinion that if there's to be a change the deal has already been struck and there won't be a wait until July because of the need to get a new coach on board and on the recruiting trail.  To wait will put IU in much the same position the IU Women's team was put in when Miller was terminated.

Breaking news.  This just in.  Fred Glass has announced that CTC will remain as head coach of IU for 3 more years at which time Jim Boeheim will become IU's head coach.   :laugh:     Hoosier nation, be careful what you wish for.

I think if Crean is done at IU, either through firing or on his own, it will happen sooner than later.  My fear is that if we don't hear anything by Monday we may be stuck with him.  Ugh.  :negative:

I may be wrong here, but apparently after the game neither Yogi, Troy, or James gave definitive answers that they'd be back to IU next season, it may mean nothing...because they may all be blinded by the $$$ of the NBA, or it may mean that they know something that we don't know about Crean.  I hope for goodness sake though that if Crean is our coach next year that all three of them are back, otherwise....I don't even want to think about it.

Why wait?  The way his buyout is constructed it's not a lump sum, it's paid out over 5 years and he probably wouldn't get the full 12 million.  Plus I read somewhere that what he gets paid at his next coaching job is deducted from what IU would owe so IU could theoretically get out with paying only a small portion of it.

James isn't even close to being ready for the NBA. He'd be way better off staying
