(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

Recommended Posts

Bryant at IU would be a great addition as would anyone over 6' 9' with some skill.  To me, a Dean Garrett type guy roaming in the paint would solve a lot of our ills this season.

Tommy B says Kentucky still in the running.

He and his mom need to have a level setting session. They do not seem to be on the same page

Not a good example. Noah was no where near featured. He wasn't happy in his role. Whether his fault, the guards' fault or coaching or any combination. He was neglected, especially when you look at his shot attempts and how many were just based on offensive rebounds. He was a top 10 pick regardless of where he went to school, though the same can be said of UK's talent.

Yeah, but he was still the B1G freshman of the year. Averaged almost a double/double. So while he may have been underutilized for whatever reason, I would still consider him a feature big.

I would argue that to Tommy Boy in this way. "Look at Noah Vonleh, he didn't have half the pieces around him that you would. Without outside shooters  opponents collapsed on him and robbed him of opportunities to shine. And we still made him a top-10 draft pick. Imagine what you'll do with a team that shoots 42% from behind the arc."

This is how I would present it as well. It would help if Noah was someone kids could contact as a reference and have him give glowing recommendations. I do not know this to be untrue but I get the impression the relationship is frosty between him and the staff.

I'm going to say it's still frosty. Because, every alumni group that I know of who has successfully arranged a meet-and-greet with Cody has failed to arrange one with Noah.

At some point, holding a grudge is going to make him look stupid not Indiana.

Come back like... to the University at all? Because he taught there for years after he was fired. He was a professor.

I had no idea; thanks for the education. Speaks volumes since Knight thought so highly of Woody and even watched his practices. Maybe there's hope afterall?

Oh yeah, sorry. He taught while he was coaching too.

I think Knight has reached that point where he has a reputation that he isn't going to forgive IU and he is too prideful to actually do it. Like when you grow your hair long and it becomes part of your identity and is harder to cut because you just don't want to listen to people's crap about how happy they are or whatever.
