(2015) C Thomas Bryant to IU

Recommended Posts

JeNay was definitely not pulling a quick one in my opinion. He loves Indiana. Look at any quotes or pictures from his last game with us as a coach earlier this year. He loves our kids. He was clapping and screaming all game long. If anything I think he helps the push for Thomas Bryant. No way he says anything negative about Indiana to those recruits.

Alright guys if it keeps on going we are just gonna have to ban. Not the topic for this. This is CCG space. Not Crean arguments.  Capiche?

There ya go.  I had to fix that for you, otherwise CC would have had to tidy up there.  Nothing personal mdn.  I appreciate what you guy do.

The Assembly Call guys seemed to think Bryant is a Hoosier!!!

It really looked like it. He was wearing IU gear, sitting (and cheering) with Marni, and then add in what just happened with the other team on his list. I wouldn't be surprised to have a committment from him before he leaves town at all.

A lot of people are saying it's looking good for us. Syracuse was a lock earlier with Indiana making a late push and now with all the Syracuse stuff I don't see how we don't get Thomas Bryant. I think he is a must get in my opinion.

I hope so buddy! We couldn't see much at all on TV so can you tell us what was going on with them? Did Thomas come with friends as was reported earlier? What was going on with the Maker brothers? Was there any interaction with the team during the game? etc...Was there booing going on in the Hall? Fill us in brother....

Traffic was bad so I got in just in time for the Anthem, didn't see them come in but I think djsalway was there when they did. Not sure who Bryant was with, and could only recognize Thon and Matur sitting together. Thon and Matur both seemed to be engaged with the game. Matur stood the whole time for the 74-75 team at half. Bryant wasn't around at halftime, I think he went somewhere with Marni. He and the brothers were both up and applauding at different times in the game though. There was booing at the under 4 timeout but it was quick and painless. The place was electric the last few minutes, obviously. It was a pretty positive atmosphere, and the place actually ended up being nearly full once the game got going.

No friends with Thomas Bryant. Did not really pay too much attention until the end of the game when I saw him standing and clapping when the game got exciting. Right before the national anthem, Crean walked over and gave Bryant a handshake and they had a quick discussion. He looked like he was about to do the same with Thon and Matur but the Anthem was about to start. I left as soon as the game ended but could hear from the balcony loud cheers which could have been a mixture of the team leaving the court and Thomas Bryant and the Makers walking past the student section.

My seats are on the east side and I'll admit, I was very interested in the boys behind the bench. Usually recruits have their cell phones out, but not these guys. They were completely engaged in the game. Marni was her usual enthusiastic self and was sitting by Thomas. It may have rubbed off on TB as he was up clapping and rooting on the team (when he wasn't gobbling down the popcorn). The brothers Maker were very attentive and applauded during the game. I noticed the brothers stayed in their seats for the half time presentation that honored the seniors from '75. When the recruits left the floor, they walked out in front of the students and received a lot of love from them and the band. I'm probably making too much of it, but I don't see how those big men could not feel WANTED by Hoosier Nation.

I think Thomas ate that entire bucket of popcorn.
