Tim Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Pitt has kept a lead on Samford, but hasn't managed to pull away, with 6:00 to go. Five point lead. Samford is kenpom #332, so about the level of competition of MVSU. Quote

Pitt doesn't look too tough. Quote
Tim Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Pitt ended up winning by just 7, though Samford had it down to a three point game with under a minute to go. Pitt hit some free throws to hold on. Samford previously lost to Purdue by 40(!), and Pitt previously beat Niagara by 33. It was a strange result, all around. WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
HoosierHoops1 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Bluiett 18 points in 25 minutes on 6-8. Abel 5 pts in 23 minutes. Easy Xavier win. Bluiett will be one to watch. Yep. He almost match Hoetzell WayneFleekHoosier 1 Quote
bleedhoosier Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Can't wait to run into some more solid schools to give our team a good punch to the mouth. We will start seeing what they are made of son enough. It will be good to get back to proper depth this week with our guys coming back. I would sprinkle them in if I was Crean and not upset what we have going. How about that dunk on Willy? Easy and 1 call except for inside Rupp. Then in the other end a straight bulldozer lowered shoulder for a UK and 1. In that scenario, that half circle zone should be irrelevant. That is a loophole waiting to be exploited. Quote
AKHoosier Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Purdue struggling mightily with IUPUI, a team that was 6-26 last year. Hammons a complete non-factor. 2 points on 1/5 shooting, 3 rebounds. Quote

Exactly, it's to the point where I may even take Perea over Hammons now. Perea looks to have gotten better, but I think the truth on Hammons has gotten out. He just ain't very good. Quote

Popular Post bleedhoosier Posted November 17, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 17, 2014 I was also not amazed that UK garnered 4 articles on the front page about the game. Talk about slobbing. It needed a front page article for blowing a cupcake out a few days ago but just crickets for us putting up 116. Oh and IU is now rated 25 on kenpom.com. yea buddy!
