You are correct.
I never saw the end of this game until about 5 yrs later. I was deployed to Europe after 911 to augment security at our bases. I was working the night they played. As the Sergeant of the Guard I had to check in with the Emergency Operations Center periodically. I walked in and they had the game on Armed Forces tv. IU was down huge. I figured that was it. About an hour later my son calls me and said IU won. I didn't believe him until he put the phone next to the t.v. and they said it was one heckuva come back. My wife said she recorded the game and would send it to me. When I got it immediately put it in the VCR to watch it. Unfortunately, she forgot to set her VCR to extended long record so the last 2 most important minutes were not recorded. I was mad, but at least she thought about recording it and sending it to me. I was able to watch the Championship game on FAN.

Ummm yeah, that's someone who didnt watch ONE minute of that game. Duke was kicking our @$$ up and down the floor, and I'm 99% sure they had a 20-point lead in the first half.
 
That's is certainly not coming out flat.
 
One of the best IU games ever, IMO, given the stage and the opponent, culminating with Moye's block of Boozer.  I have the game on DVD dubbed over with Fish's radio play-by-play.

That 2002 stretch was what really turned me into a true diehard.  As a student the excitement on campus was unreal.  I remember those games and those nights to a T.   Moye was my dude.

My first IU memory was watching Cloverdale hit a half-court shot that got reviewed and decided he shot it too late I believe. I was probably 6-7 years old. My dad & older brother both jumped up and were screaming out of joy when he hit it, naturally I followed suit. At that point I had no option but to love IU. Good memories!

That Duke game will forever hold a place in my heart. That was the game that made me fall in love with Indiana basketball. I was riding home from a long trip with my dad and we listened to the entire game on the radio with Fischer. How we didn't wreck on that Moye block is beyond me, but that was one of my favorite road trips ever.

I think the IU game that got me was the Keith Smart game. I have a split IU/PU family. That game solidified IU to me. I am 35 but you guys are making me feel old [emoji23].

Ugh, you kids.  The '76 championship when we knocked off Michigan for the 3rd time in that season and after losing Bobby Wilkerson early in the first half to injury and to be known as the last UNDEFEATED national championship team.
