This conference...

Yesterday, I saw MSU was up 96-89 and figured they won...nope. Saw Wisconsin was up 3 with only seconds left and thought they'd win as well...nope. Penn State was up 19 early in the second half and now they're behind.

Nittany Lions with no field goals in the last 9 minutes.

KenPom projected final records (assuming no make up of Minnesota/Michigan State)

  1. Purdue 14.5 - 5.5
  2. Indiana 12.4 - 7.6
  3. Maryland 12.1 - 7.9
  4. Northwestern 12.0 - 8.0
  5. Michigan 11.7 - 8.3
  6. Rutgers 11.5 - 8.5
  7. Iowa 11.1 - 8.9
  8. Illinois 10.9 - 9.1
  9. Michigan St 10.3 - 8.7
  10. Wisconsin 9.1 - 10.9
  11. Penn St 8.9 - 11.1
  12. Nebraska 8.6 - 11.4
  13. Ohio St 4.7 - 15.3
  14. Minnesota 1.5 - 17.5

IU wins two, they will have a double bye.  Very unlikely if they lose one they will win tiebreakers at 12-8.  Lose both and they'll play in either the 7/10 game or 8/9 game.

Sad news from out near my neck of the woods. Holland was not only a good coach, but a pretty classy guy. He took UVA to the Final Four in 1981, when a certain team from Bloomington won the title. He also beat a certain team from Bloomington to reach the 1984 Final Four (but we won't talk about that...)

Alzheimer's sucks.

How does beating Purdue on the road cause us to rise in the rankings despite a loss earlier. Yet Purdue doesn’t fall?

It makes as much sense as Houston as the #1, when Kansas has like a bazillion quad 1 wins, lol. Who knows and it really doesn't make a huge difference other than what number is beside your name. All I care about is the Tourney at this point. Let's win some games!

I'll always think Indy and Chicago are the best sites for the B1G tourney. Wouldn't have a problem if they had it in Minneapolis or Detroit or maybe even Milwaukee or Cleveland every once in a while -- just seems as if it should be in the Midwest.

They had it in D.C. and NYC -- and although I get why they did that, It just seemed an odd fit. I wonder if once UCLA and USC are on board, they'll throw them a bone and at some point, have it in SoCal?
