RaceToTheTop Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 FYI, I found out what happened in the McNeese State/Houston Baptist game that sent it to a fourth OT. I was watching the game log and saw McNeese hit a three pointer to go up 132-131 with 0.6 seconds left, but then Houston Baptist hit a free throw. Turns out after the McNeese kid hit a three, a player on a McNeese State bench who wasn't even in uniform ran out on to the court all the way to the middle to congratulate the kid who hit the shot....except there was still 0.6 seconds left. McNeese bench hit with a tech, Houston Baptist hit the free throw and then won in the fourth OT. Uspshoosier 1 Quote

vemmeistars Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 The phrasing was agreed to part ways, so they probably reached a settlement on the buyout. Stuhoo 1 Quote

Per this story, it's 3.2 mil. Search firm has already been in place for 2 weeks and in the early going at least, Georgia appears to be focused on four primary targets: Xavier associate head coach Jonas Hayes, Cleveland State head coach Dennis Gates, Wake Forest head coach Steve Forbes and USC head coach Andy Enfield. https://www.ajc.com/sports/georgia-bulldogs/uga-coach-tom-crean-to-part-ways-after-basketball-season/HJUAG6Q4EFEPHFSKJS52FLU76Q/?fbclid=IwAR0jLbVpNnkLYZuLDCEVm-QJfgeOUzzG6BJL5nsuDyE6iPSG3QzNhzWpL9E Quote

Never bought the idea that he would have actually taken the Michigan job if offered. He’s from there. His wife’s a grad. Never coached anywhere but New England. They love him there. He’s in a big time conference. Hope he coaches there until he hangs it up. Quote
IUc2016 Posted March 8, 2022 Posted March 8, 2022 Pretty hard to argue with. While the Big ten doesn't have any great teams, the top end talent in this league is as good as I can remember. Those 5 are ridiculously good basketball players and 3 of them will be lottery picks Stuhoo 1 Quote
