This game is off the rails. Xavier turns it over and UConn misses a 3 to tie it but Bouknight rebounds and puts back a shot and gets fouled. Hits the FT. Headed to 2OT. College basketball always delivers like me at 8 in the morning lol

Interesting note from @JohnGasaway: The last national champion that didn't win a holiday tournament in November was Louisville in 2013 and nine of the past 10 national title-game finalists won a holiday tournament.

They already have more wins than last year(if I heard announcers correctly). Plus I have always liked Hunter as a coach. They will contend I think in their conference.

They are in the AAC so they will have a uphill battle in his first year. Definitely agree he will have them competing in the near future.

Lawson was a good get for them as a transfer and their PG seems to have a good future. Hunter was able to pull in some big transfers at Georgia State too.
