I've felt for awhile now they were a textbook Purdue team that peaks in January. Looking like it right now. 

 

Down 11 with 12 seconds left and still fouling. I guess they're in these situations so infrequently they just don't know what to do.

On a scale of 1 to Marcelino Ball, how put together is Alijah Martin in person?

Ah, so that's it. Foul them so they'll miss a free throw, allowing Loyer to throw in a pointless 3 at the end to lose by single digits instead of 10. 

 

I love posting after Purdue losses. I've adopted the @Uspshoosier Will Wade method of not posting about them during games because every time I do, they come back from the dead or go on some crazy run.

I was in row 15 and a little scared that he would be mistakenly angry at me.

BYU all over Kansas early 25-12. Jaysqwuacks looking at their 3rd straight L.

NIL makes paying players essentially legal and KU hoops and Bama football come back to the pack. Go figure.

LCS bringing up what other jobs might open up got me thinking about Butler. What’s going on there? Is Matta in trouble? Do they have the resources to compete in a high major?  Have they decided they’re overmatched in the Big East and could they take a step down in conference affiliation? Thoughts?

They definitely don’t have the resources to complete with the top of the Big East.  I’m guessing their NIL is the lowest or one of the lowest.  I get why they did it but they should have stayed in the A-10 when they moved there from the Horizon.  I think they were only in the A10 1 year before they moved again to the Big East.

It also didn't help that the move to the Big East coincided with Brad leaving for Boston. If Brad had stayed in Butler a while longer (at least till Crean was let go lol), maybe Butler finds their way in a major conference like Creighton or Marquette.

I was clamoring for Alijah Martin during Dusty’s breakout season. Got that dawg in him that zero Indiana players have had in the past 2 tenures.
