Knights tactics and actions were not something that ages well. He was on a thin rope in the years leading up to his firing. Times were changing and he wasnt. 

that said, I cannot recall in the modern era a head d-1 basketball coach punching someone after a game. Pretty unprecedented and hopefully the last time we see that.

Have to respect the Big Ten’s no pub is bad pub stance by making a one day story in to a two day story now. Where are these punishments and why is it taking this long? Get it over with so everyone can move on

Gard definitely should’ve been suspended for a game. He was a big instigator in the situation.

Greg Gard getting fined $10,000 is just flat stupid.  Fine's don't effect coaches.  If it's fineable, it's suspendable.
