College ball has way too many guys who have no business playing much getting big minutes on teams. Its hard to watch sometimes. Personally NBA is hard to watch for me. I know the talent level and skill set of players is superior but for me I will watch college basketball ever time over it. I didn't watch a full game in the NBA this year just not my cup of tea For me its IU and college basketball>high school basketball>NBA. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Oh yeah, I completely get why people prefer college ball over the NBA. And there are definitely guys in the NBA who are hard to watch because they definitely have no business playing at the pinnacle of the sport, like half of the rosters the 76ers turned out a few years ago before this year. For the most part though college is worse for me because the talent disparity is too frequent. Quote
TheWatShot Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 The Pacers apparently think they can still get the #2 pick. I'll give them an A for effort. If the Pacers ever picked in the top 7-8 of a draft I'd think they were a different organization. Quote

Players are obviously better in the NBA. Which age, time, and experience so I would hope so. The infrequency of calls or following the rule book in the NBA get to me. Every game once you get to conference is a rivalry game. If the persons cup of tea if the NBA they are typically banking it on individual performances at the highest level. I get that too. Both are so different that I just don't feel they are comparable.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app HoosierAloha and Defenserocks28 2 Quote

IUfan_Charlie Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 So ATL traded Dwight and the 31st to Charlotte for Belinelli, Miles Plumlee, and a 2nd rounder. No idea why ATL would do that. Curious to see what CHA does with Howard and Zeller. Quote

Cody and Howard can't really play together. It's been shown that Cody struggles at the 4 but thrives at the 5. I don't see how he plays with Howard. Just a a strange move for Charlotte. Cody needs to get out of there. HoosierAloha 1 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Dang. Atlanta won 60 games and made the Conference Finals 2 years ago and it's been all downhill since. Quote
KingPG21 Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Two things that make me feel better about what we could get for PG. Woj said the Suns have used the 4th pick in a three team discussion involving PG And Pacers are reportedly ranking all the proposals they've been offered, been contacted by just about every team in the league. Thats why I never understood Pacer fans having a meltdown, this is the league of superteams and risks of course teams would go after him. As soon as more than 1 team wanted him the Pacers got all of their leverage back. Quote
