He cancelled before that. Brooks had no impact on Watford’s decision not to visit in my opinion. People have been reporting Watford was a long shot for a while. That fact that his only visit here was last year and that was the same week as his sisters volleyball tournament in Bloomington. Coaches didn’t visit during his high school year. I think they did one home visit but after that not much. Bama or Memphis has been the most talked about. With Watfords relationship with Mike Miller most thought that’s where he will end up

People complain about the lack of student attendance at IU games and then there's this.  Mountain Brook is an exceptionally good team ranked #26 on the Prep Circuit and this is all they get.

.@mtnbrookhoops has won 4 state titles in 6 years & there’s about 12 students tonight for a home game vs Ramsey.  MBHS students need to pick it up!!

It's nice we hade his final 4, but I really don't have any expectations that he'll be in Bloomington other than as a member of an opponent's team.  It just doesn't seem like there's been much attention from our end as we've gone all in for Brooks.

Not for nuthin’, but:

Alabama: “I just like what they’re doing there.”

LSU: ”I just like what they’re doing right now.”

Memphis: “I like how they are playing.”

IU: “I just love what Coach Archie Miller was saying during my in-home visit. I just love what he is doing now.”

 

We’re the only place that got some “love.”
