cthomas Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Hoover is our ceiling. Just doesn't make the play when we need it. Quote

LamarCheeks Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This ain't Rutgers or Nebraska or Western Kentucky. We can't keep expecting to be able to come back later and make up for our f*ckups. Not against a team like this. We gotta take advantage of the opportunities we get. skhoosier2 1 Quote

He’s been as good as any other transfer QB. But a far cry from what we watched last year. The decision making and accuracy are average Quote
Home Jersey Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Not every year can be a 16-0 natty with a Heisman winner. Some programs never get that. This year's team is not last year's team and all that, but it's still a good college football team. We're not getting ragdolled by OSU, just beating ourselves. Frustrating, but we're seeing the difference between our NFL guys last year and "just good" college football players. BtownStrength and Crimson and Cream 2 Quote
TheWatShot Posted October 17 Posted October 17 A lot had to go right for us to beat them last year. We're not as talented as them and we can't afford these kinds of mistakes. Quote

AKHoosier Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Could have been up 14-3, but nothing has gone right since that missed TD. Feels like when Micah McFadden got ejected after a bogus targeting call against Cincinnati then we just completely unraveled after that. BtownStrength 1 Quote

BBTB Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Just wondering why can't they play Grant as QB I mean Hoover just is not doing well Quote
IU5355 Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This game isnt over. Take care of the d@mn ball and keep getting after Sayin. HoosierReb01 and realTomCrean 2 Quote

Frustrating part is it’s essentially wholly on Hoover (minus the Chandler fumble) Doesn’t see Schott and then Marsh open. Underthrows Becker prevents a TD. Then all the overthrows early. cthomas, Home Jersey and skhoosier2 3 Quote
LamarCheeks Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Man -- both QBs stink today. Smith was wide open, but Sayin threw it 5 feet over his head. And I'm very happy about that. Quote
