cthomas Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Harris could have been the lock down corner we are missing since Ponds left. Have no idea what's wrong with him but wonder if it's not all physical. Quote

Injury prone and at this point it appears Cig doesn’t have a lot of confidence in him seeing the field with the responses he’s given when asked. Quote

Generally just didn't play as well as he did in 2024 too though and got benched against Northwestern. skhoosier2 1 Quote

He missed significant time at PSU last year after having, I think, a pretty good year before. I can't think of much that would keep him out two seasons and not be fixable with surgery. Quote
Home Jersey Posted Wednesday at 03:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:42 PM I occasionally have to drive directly by the Rutgers football stadium on my way to work. There are a bunch of pole banners with the block R logo across the street from the front entrance. At the start of the school year, somebody had flipped all the pole banners upside down and one of the houses down the street had a spray painted sign hanging out of their window that said: "RU IN DISTRESS End the football program!" If I weren't driving I would've snapped a pic. The pole banners were all fixed before the UMass game lol. Too bad Rutgers and Purdue don't play this year, they may have found a way for both teams to lose. ronzo4IU, FortWayneHoosier and BtownStrength 1 2 Quote

Stuhoo Posted Thursday at 12:57 AM Posted Thursday at 12:57 AM Antwan Raymond is questionable?!!? He is their main man on offense. That young receiver is good, but with us rushing the qb he shouldn’t get too much. skhoosier2 and Brass Cannon 2 Quote

skhoosier2 Posted Friday at 01:18 AM Posted Friday at 01:18 AM We are dropping guys like flies. Again I think we miss Owings. We haven’t had this many injuries in the last two years that I can recall. Quote

They've lost 7 players for the season so far, including their preseason All-American offensive guard. Several other players on the injury report for this week too. Strength and Conditioning coaches get unfair blame when teams suffer a lot of injuries. They're easy targets. Stuff just happens when big boys collide. The Maryland game it seemed like we had somebody heading to the locker room about every other play. Our bye week plus the Purdue game couldn't have come at a better time. Wonder if he has any regrets about leaving? Grass isn’t always greener. Hopefully we are just having a string of bad luck lately. Need them healthy for Ohio State. Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted Friday at 09:49 AM Author Posted Friday at 09:49 AM Fear not. As I still have eligibility remaining, I have contacted Coach Cig and graciously offered to provide some depth at running back as long as the IU schedule doesn't conflict with my schedule here at the home. mamasa, ALASKA HOOSIER, go iu bb and 3 others 6 Quote
