A judge has already granted a large group of players an injunction for a 5th year.
 

I said from the get go the NCAA should have just let players stick around for a 5th year if they wanted to.  Would have just saved everybody time and energy

From reading ITH and other sites, Sam Alexis did not play in the IU v Peru game.  Coach DD implied that he was there to provide depth since the team was down two bigs.  Sam had gotten to Peru just in the morning.  

Would he be allowed to play?  Coach said clearly that Sam Alexis would slide right in and be valuable.

Coach did not directly indicate anything about seeking a 5th year for Sam A.

He also noted that only 12 players are allowed to play each game. 

It is my understanding that Samet Y is not going to play...because of international rule prohibitions at this set of games.

I missed the start of the game and did not have a lot of luck streaming the game.  Did check the scores at times and then avoided it.    I was watching a baseball game here in Dayton...with family.

The stream was bad. After they switched to the weightlifting ceremony I checked out since we were already up about 40.

I noticed some of the other streams seemed to be fine. I hope they get them fixed for some of the more competitive games. It’s odd to me that I can stream HS games and random AAU games, but IU plays these exhibitions that get thousands of viewers and there’s never a working stream.

The stream was bad and the amount of time spent on this game versus other events was random... until it got better. And my teeny-tiny brain adjusted to the glitchines, so by the second half it seemed kinda normal.

In the second half they really didn't break away from the game at all. Some 'unreliable takeaways?'

1. The opposition was really, really bad, but they were full size.
2. Lindsay is quiet- no dynamic athletic qualities at all. But he plays like a grown-up.
3. Sisley sure looked like one of our five best players. The only place he could start is at the three, but jeez, he looked the part on both ends of the floor.
4. Prince is the man. He is super strong and athletic, especially defensively. He also looked like he did a better job running the offense with the second team than Lindsay as the backup pg could with the first team. And his outside shot was composed and on point. He looks like a starter quality player for sure; I wonder if Devries will consider him over Lindsay or Harris.
5. Karvala is super-intruiging and is going to be a popular player. He rebounded, including outside of his zone and to me it seemed that he really has fun being out there. I'm sure he has tons of maturing to do, but some players simply catch the eye on the court and he is one of them.
6. Mustaf is very deferential on offense. On defense he is a truck - strong enough to move much taller players out of their intended position.
7. Harris? Meh. Aginst terrible opposition you'd think he would show some alpha qualities. Nope.
8. Markus Burton got to wherever he wanted repeatedly. He is a truly dynamic player.

Moody’s play thus far matches what his HS games looked like.  He always seemed like an underrated prospect to me nationally.  Granted the competition is poor, but so far he looks to be beyond his years.  
 

The prospect of Alexis as 13 would be the perfect fit to fill the roster. Hoping that happens, although the chaos that will happen nationally if 5/5 super seniors become eligible would be utter chaos. 
 

We’d need a deep dive into open schollies, then you know other schools would utilize the 15 scholarship size to bring in superstars, so the benefits Alexis would afford us, might be a net negative based on what other big spenders would do with the opportunity.
