CFP can still stop it I believe

Would have to be CFP just doing it off the record i.e. "undervalue" the wins LSU gets? Because that could certainly happen. Same thing with ND getting an autobid if they are top 12. Just rank them 13, CFP committee has and will twist words to get what they want.

They were considering a rule change last I heard but yes committee could still do it off record.

Did not really consider this but probably the best way to avoid lawsuit would just be to leave them off and rank them low on purpose. Unless ofcourse they somehow miraculously win the SEC or get to SEC championship game. Lane is awful and awful for CFB. I hope it all backfires on him and he ends up cancelled.

Squeak is pretty much the best dude ever. Rivals OG as one of the absolute most likable Hoosiers of my 40+ years watching IU sports.

I love these looks inside the program. One of the things I appreciate most about what Cignetti has done here is the quality of people he has brought in. They are likeable and easy to root for. When he was hired I just wanted to a disciplined, fundamentally sound brand of football. Coaching matters and so does character. Can't wait to see it on the field again.

There seems to be a fair bit of complaining about how this shook out, I assume because it means that IU-OSU will most likely be a noon kickoff. Am I the only one doesn’t care when games kick off?

If you're at home, it largely shouldn't matter. For those that go to the games, some like later games so they can wake up at a normal hour, some don't like later games cuz they take younger kids with them, some don't like early games cuz you have to start tailgate in the dark, etc.

I hope the networks 'drafted' more games early on than this crap of waiting to the Sunday before picking a time. That can truly screw up people going to the game and watching from home alike. That irks me more than having an uneven number of early or late games.

Good to know for sure it’s noon kickoff.  I have something I need to reschedule.

As a season ticket holder traveling from 90 minutes out, I want a mix of kick times with a little luck mixed in based on other things I have going on, mainly kids’ sports. A bunch of home nooners (2024) suck. A bunch of night games would be awful. This year I feel like we’re going to get a nice mix. We already have a few nooners, a 4:00, and a night game. Last year wasn’t bad either.

Gut feeling USC is the 3:30 CBS game too.

Your probably right but noon kickoff against USC would be hilarious

Mid afternoon is the sweet spot kick time imo.  You can do stuff around Bloomington before and/or after the game… whatever you want.

Definitely want one or two night games which are always cool.

Noon is not the end of the world, but it’s the worst.  Can’t do much before the game and there isn’t much time for the energy to build.

Interesting Game Day Experiences – from $200 to $550.

Love these.  My prior company was a corporate sponsor and I used to try and encourage the athletic dept to let me carry the flag out for the greatest timeout in college basketball.  Sigh, never happened and I probably would have tripped but what if…
