PU football is going to continue to suck for a number of years. Maybe they have a loaded 4-H benefactor (LOL) but I think they are in a hole they won’t get out of. What decent player wants to go there???  Love it!!

I’ll pile on why not.

Yea, it's a tough hole to dig out of.  No conference wins in two years.  They need a better roster, but they have bottom quarter of the conference payroll, and even worse they have to pay a premium to players to go there because as you astutely observed, "what decent player wants to go there???"  And the last kick in the shin is the pressure IU puts on them that Brass Cannon noted, which probably forces them into more coach buyouts that use up even more of their money.

If there is a 4-H benefactor, they haven't find that person yet.  Maybe they can auction off some of their moon rocks.

I wonder what the B1G is going to do with them in the 2030's... I wonder...

As for this game, we're probably gonna lose, but at least we split this year.  The most important thing for IUBB right now is our last four games and especially whatever we do in the portal which will setup up next season.

And lastly, the fact of the matter is the CFB Champion is king of college sports.  And that is us.  We won everything in the biggest sport.  No matter what we're at top of the college sports mountain for about nine months.

Think about that; Amish Boy, The Flopper, and TKR will finish their Purdue careers with a 4-4 record against one of the worst eras of IU hoops, but only if they win the upcoming home game.

If Wilkerson and Dorn go on a heater or TKR gets in foul trouble, they will finish their Purdump careers with a 3-5 record against IU.

Yeah, I feel pretty awful about this one.  I'll keep the wishful thinking alive until we get down 10.  Would love to have one of those unconscious type shooting night from our big 3 and knock them back.  Wilkerson has been the only really consistent one of late.  Dorn is on a major slide.  Not sure what to chalk that up too.

That Helms banner has been up there for decades.  Exactly when they put it up I don’t know.  It’s pathetic that’s for sure — no one takes it seriously.
