The whole fan argument is garbage. Go take a look at Purdue social media today. This in the middle of one of the best runs in the history of their program. Fans are not the biggest problem, fans are fans. When you are losing it just highlights the biggest losers in a fanbase. So I don't completely dismiss that some guys are turned off by our wackos. But the wackos weren't the problem, the losing was. The problem has always been picking the wrong guys to be in charge. BGleas, Jeff Flabjohns, Hardwood83 and 6 others 8 1 Quote

maxwell Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Great Win. Love to see these guys knocking down big shots and working hard. Some have expressed a concern for ball movement slowing down when Tayton Conerway returns from injury. I understand that thought but I also feel the ball slows down the most when he is looking for an opportunity to drive to the rim. I believe if our guys continue to knock down shots he will not hinder ball movement with or without Enright on the floor. I'm also thankful on the nights from here on out when we are not lighting it up from the arch that he will offset some of that by getting to the rim. str8baller 1 Quote

He was really physical and grabbed some big boards. Those two really came up big on defense. I mean…they were getting abused a bit, but they came up with enough stops to make a difference. tkbbn and maxwell 2 Quote
Pagoda Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Kinda funny that under our current and previous coaches, and with PU having their best stretch ever, we are 5-4 against them. I'm not gonna hang my hat on our head to head record and pretend everything is great, but that is amusing. 8bucks, Stuhoo, Home Jersey and 3 others 6 Quote

While head to head vs. Purdoo isn't a primary metric to be evaluated on in my opinion, when you're that bad (especially at home) it certainly became an issue. AKHoosier 1 Quote

No coincidence that Cig was there, of course. I mean, we all noticed the basketball team suddenly started improving once Cig no longer had to actively coach football. Everyone suddenly seems more disciplined with more hustle too. HMMMMMMMMMMMM I WONDER Quote
