Definitely Ole Miss.

If it's not us, I wouldn't mind seeing them win it all if I had to pick a remaining team. 

Also I think Miami would be a more challenging opponent for us. Their lines are way better than Ole Miss imo.

While I think we can beat either team (and Oregon can beat either), I think Ole Miss would be my choice.  Miami D line is elite, and I do think it would give us fits. Their offense however is no great shake so possibly that would be easier if we could neutralize their D than dealing with Chambliss.  Both will be a challenge, but I think we are the most complete team next to Oregon and if we can win the Peach bowl, I feel confident we can win it all.

I get the Ole Miss narrative. But I would love to see the BS of continue doubt that IU's bubble is about to burst again going up against Miami at home in the championship. Would love to see the Hoosiers take out Miami and watch Michael Ervin crying on the sidelines over and over!

In today’s presser, Lanning said “yes” when asked if Harris is available to play.

And didn't even give a reason. Unless we find out Harris decided not to transfer after all or something, that's a pretty big black mark on Lanning for me.

Yeah, I see that as making rules, then bending them to meet your perceived needs. Indiana's run defense will make this a non-starter for the Ducks, and will render the whole Harris discussion moot.

2) I want to go to the game and think Miami will drive the prices into the stratosphere

That's why I think lanning is allowing it(following Stein) plus they want to win and know they need RB3 to at least have some type of depth there should they suffer an injury.

the ticket prices for the national championship are already priced as if Miami makes it.  $3,000 per ticket right now.  At the start of the CFP games, tickets were as low as $1,200

Yep, but…….

100 level club seats behind the Oregon bench were $1,400+ a couple of weeks ago but today there are some in the low. $600’s.

Tickets won’t be cheap If Ole Miss wins but I’d bet they will drift down a bit.

I don't think many tickets are actually available right now. If you look at the Ticketmaster map, there are a ton of sections without a single listing. I'd guess get-in price will be around a grand when it's all said and done if it's Ole Miss. Hard telling if it's Miami. Either way, the CFP title game has started trending more toward a super bowl crowd than a normies crowd.

agree with your last statement 110%.  It is unfortunate for the regular fan, extremely difficult to attend at the prices mentioned.  If Ole Miss wins, we probably see sub $1k prices.  If Miami wins, we stay above $1k for an entry.

If we could get as low as a grand, that would be amazing. I can't justify spending $7,500 (with flights etc) to take my daughter out of school to fly to almost the furthest part of the country from us for the championship. And while I could sell myself on spending $4,000 if I really tried, I don't think I can without knowing if anyone else I know will be there. I know it will be an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood, but I still don't enjoy navigating it alone; shared experiences I can reflect on with others later are the only real experiences. Getting both of us there for $4,000 or less is a no brainer.

So, I guess my wife should be rooting for Miami from a financial standpoint.
