Ohio State and Oregon gave up a total of 25 sacks this year combined. Of the 25 sacks, 11 came against Indiana. That’s 44% for the math folks out there. Indiana was responsible for 5/11 Ohio State sacks allowed and 6/14 Oregon sacks allowed. Just ridiculous.

That was so fun.  To go into the game with the question "what happens if Sayin gets pressured?", then people question if we can do it, and we do it, and it works.  Mega satisfaction.  

Most satisfying thing for me since we had some of those short yardage issues earlier in the year and we bulldozed Oregon's DL twice on the goal line for Hemby TD's.

An FYI: Southwest just launched two special non-stops from Indy to LAX for Rose Bowl going out on 12/31 and returning on 1/2.

They are not cheap at $1300 dollars a ticket and only premium pricing fares offered but it brings the number of nonstops for those days to 5. It generally is only two per day total on a normal day with one on American and one on Delta. However, American added an extra flight to their regular one and Southwest launched two specials for the game on the route they don't normally fly (and note it is $400 less than the $1700 the other carriers are charging).

Feel pretty good about my $500 one-stopper in and out of Ontario that I booked an hour after the final horn sounded Saturday looking at the fares now. YIKES.

Yeah, I was already going to be out there. The stars aligned for me. I never thought in my wildest dreams I'd ever attend the Rose Bowl that IUFB was actually playing in.

I’m thinkin more Miami !  Fingers crossed.  Used to play golf ne t to the Rose Bowl.  Pretty cool.  I saw Merlin Olsen there one day.  He was riding his bike in the parking lot.  He stopped and BS’d with us for a bit.

OSU fans are trying so hard to convince themselves that Day threw this game because it's apparently hard to beat the same team twice in one season (I guess that's college football's version of the myth that it's hard to beat someone three times). 

 

Seeing them have to come to grips with a loss to IU pleases me greatly. Never thought I'd live long enough to see it.
