I thought it was kinda funny during the women's game last night.

The announcer was talking about the success of the athletic program right now: women's basketball is unbeaten and was a national power a couple years ago; men's basketball is unbeaten; volleyball is having a nice season; men's soccer is in the NCAAs and is a traditional power.

Then he says, "And then there's the king: Curt Cignetti."

Who would've EVER thought IU football would be the crown jewel of our athletic program and the football coach would be one of the most popular dudes on campus?

On his mighty throne...

Can’t see anyway our starting lineup doesn’t change. The Bailey/tucker and Alexis/Sisley pairing is mismatched. Tucker really is more of a 3 anyways.

I can't immediately remember seeing Bailey/Sisley and Alexis/Tucker on the court at all this year, though I admittedly have a terrible memory and am not trying that hard, lol.

I'd love to see Ant Wright or someone else with a Synergy account run the efficiency metrics on how our different lineups play together.

No legs... shots are short.

In November, that can mean one of two things:

1) Last few days of practice featured a lot of running, or

2) The team is under-conditioned.

Based on how our first three games went, I'm leaning toward #1.

I don't think the issue is about a bad habit of playing to the level of competition necessarily.

I agree with the rest of your post but I think there’s an element of “let’s just run our basic offense/defense and see how it goes” to these bad buy games.  Annoying it’s not going better. Let’s hope we come out better in the second half than we did last game. No shame in a lackluster 30pt win.

At this point I would be starting Alexis over Bailey. Bailey is almost unplayable outside of some fast breaks and lob situations. If we don’t learn to box out instead of just jumping for rebounds, starting next week things are going to get brutal, especially if we can’t hit the ocean from the beach like the past 1.5 games.
