Let's quickly forget about last night's performance.  Thankfully, the men's and women's games are not on the same night let alone at the same time this week.  Trying to simultaneously follow 2 games was almost too much for this Old Fart to handle.  Lindenwood 2-3 on the current season after last year's 16-17 record.

I'd like to say that I am really fired up to have IU play Lindenwoodie.

I'd really like to say that...

However...

I'd also like to say that I really enjoy talking to my lawyer and spending lots of money for way too little.

(Spoiler alert:  ...uh...never mind...but I will watch and cheer IU.)

Lindenwood took the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy to the Linden Woodshed this week. Smacked 116 on them.

I thought you were kidding but yes, LWood did play and beat the Pharmacy school.

However, LWoodie just lost to the Alabama AM team we beat by 47.

I’ll be disappointed if our walk-ons don’t score at least 8-10 points.

Jeff Levering and Shon Morris will call Lindenwood at Indiana, Thursday at 6 p.m. ET for BTN.

I'll bet they are so excited. Can you imagine their actual reaction?

Having to take the time to travel and prep for Lindenwood? I know they get paid and all, but still...

Really hope IU has a better November home slate next year. Really excited for this team, but this schedule is hard to get too excited about and can’t blame fans for the poor attendance at SSAH when the schedule is what it is.

Closing on the sale of our house today...got full asking price!  Our new one-story is shaping up nicely in a great location.  My 40-year old daughter is giving birth to our first grandchild Friday!  Nearing completion of the football season, IU stands alone atop the Big Ten!  IU is undefeated at 11-0 and is way ahead of OSU which does not have as many wins.  And, still, Purdue sucks!

But topping those phenomenal events is Indiana basketball hosts Lindenwood U. this evening on BTN. The Lindy Lions No. 335 in KenPom just this summer became a transitional Division 1 team!   IU is blessed to host them on our historical home court!    Now that is something for the ages.  Getting the popcorn ready.

I understand scheduling some cupcakes but don’t like having three extremely sugary cupcakes (314,334,354).

We need to schedule all games with their impact on metrics in mind, not because of some obscure connection with an assistant coach. I think this regime has done a better job of it than the last three, but still some work to be done.
