Cignetti has also said that the market for high school kids is getting ridiculous. I also believe he stated on a podcast that what is happening with NIL is not sustainable.

I heard him say that in an interview.

One would think that the current market is not sustainable but who knows??  It all depends on how much the market is willing to spend and at this point it isn’t slowing down.

I don’t think he ends up with where he chooses on Friday. I’m sure he will continue to field offers and will decommit and commit to another program. Maybe 2. We won’t be the highest offer. We also won’t make guarantees on playing time that I’m sure other programs are doing.

IUFB will be ok regardless. Cig is staying true to his process and he’s proven he can win regardless of stars.

Totally agree......till he signs his official letter.....he might change commitment schools 2 or 3 times.

Disagree.

Late July commitments overwhelmingly make it to campus. If his representation was unreliable IU would not be pushing hard to the finish with him.

Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t love this one at all but the staff has earned the all-time benefit of the doubt. If they want him, no problem. Go get him.

Hope I'm wrong if he chooses IU...

Sauce is listed at 6'3", so he might be 6'2.5"?

Something like that. Sauce's combine measurement was 6'2 3/4".

Not a knock, he just isn't 6'5" which is what he's listed everywhere.

They must measure him with his cleats on.

Pretty typical. TJ Lewis, RB out of Bolingbrook is listed at 6'0", 215 lbs, but got to his Illini visit and apparently came in at 5'9, 235lbs.

2-3 inches short of what was promised and 20 pounds heavier? Been there.
