I know Adams has that connection to Bidunga supposedly, but is he thought of highly for other reasons? Ace recruiter, X’s and O’s guru? Don’t know much at all about the guy.

Adams earned Top 50 Most Impactful Mid Major Assistants distinction from Silver Waves Media in both 2020 and 2022, and was also named one of the top five assistant coaches in the Missouri Valley Conference during in 2020.

He worked for Alford before that. I would say he is much more of talent acquisition add than an x/o guy.

IU still has not removed the old coaching staff from the website.

Maybe it’s a summer project for IU’s athletic dept website folks to get our coaching staff up to date.

Geez Doc, we were on the leading edge.  I mean we've had Tijan, Hanner, Bawa...

Don't forget, Knight got Ewe (Munich via Effingham, IL) ... and we almost had Ivan Renko...

Thanks... looked at the dropdown on the upper right side of the page... clearly, the links haven't been updated... but glad to see CDD's page exists.

Took me a while to find it. Had to go to 2025-2026. The old staff is still on there but the roster is completely empty lol

Is it the association with the Brad Bomba abuse suits?

Not so much, though that’s not a positive for him. There was some belief / hope that TG would retire over the last few years, but he wasn’t of a mind to do that. So he was told it was time to go, and that’s not what he wanted or expected from his employer of 40+ years. The coaching change provided a natural time to do it, but it wasn’t the new coach’s call at all. This was 100% the AD’s decision in a belt-tightening environment.

....nothing wrong with that decision. Cleaning house can be painful, but refreshing when done. lol

Can you pass along a recommendation to keep manager Bennet Munds on?  Poor kid has not seen good basketball here and comes from a long family of boilermakers.  We need to show him what good Indiana basketball is like so he has something to fight back with when visiting family.
