Only one of the USC players shoots serious 3-point shots.  Their center is 6-10 Cohen...but he is not that good.  Against Michigan, in a USC loss, Michigan got inside and scored in the paint.  Their wings, except for Cohen, are not over 6'7" and they struggle rebounding per this article: Meet The Opponent: Big Ten Newbies USC Visit Indiana

They have lost to Oregon and Michigan on the road. But they beat Washington on the road.  All three of those teams are good.

Their first-year coach, Eric Musselman, is a good coach.  He will have USC ready. Musselman was previously HC at Arkansas where he coached wins in 2/3rds of their games.  He does not appreciate the excellent refereeing calling fouls in the Big Ten...while on the road.  Imagine that?!

One of the major issues with the Trojans was the amount of fouls that were called against USC, 15 in the second half. USC guard Desmond Claude fouled out while having a big game, and guards Wesley Yates and Chibuzo Agbo also were in foul trouble late in the game. USC ended the match with 21 fouls.

After the game, USC coach Eric Musselman was asked if there was any frustration with the referees. Musselman attempted to stay calm about the foul troubles, but acknowldged there were issues.

“I mean, there is, but I’m not gonna say it. I’m a first-year coach in the league you know. So is Dusty but, it’s not worth talking about, to be honest. Because there was a stretch there that we were not trying to foul,” Musselman said. “We were trying to be super disciplined and they went to the foul line. When we were way more aggressive early in the game and there wasn’t fouls.”  USC Trojans Basketball Coach Eric Musselman Addresses Questionable Big Ten Referees

Tickets are available and cheap on Stubhub.  Are students on campus?  Will there be anyone in their seats in SSAH?  Will USC freeze their butts?  Will coaches, fans, players and the announcers react favorably to the excellent refereeing in the B1G?  IU gives USC a warm reception and welcome to our place.

I find it interesting that the story you linked is written by University of Florida Basketball Coach and suspected mega-creeper Todd Golden.

Students still on break and die hard fans who would usually drive through any type of weather to get to Assembly Hall may look at the snow and frigid temps, factor in their overall dissatisfaction with Woodson and then just say to hell with it and stay home.

Might be a better question for later today or tomorrow, but how will it be getting to Bloomington via 46 tomorrow? Any updates on the parking lots and surrounding areas?

Kevin Kugler and Robbie Hummel will call USC at #iubb Wednesday at 7 pm ET for BTN.

Can’t believe Hummel and Bardo are our two main options. I wish we could get that other big goofy white guy (sorry, forgetting his name…maybe played at Iowa) that actually likes IU.

My co-worker drove from Columbus to almost Ellettsville this morning- said the main roads were fine (me? I'm still stuck in my driveway w/ 14 inches of snow lol).  My crew has travelled south and west from our office, haven't heard many complaints, so hopefully, it's good!

Back in the friendly confines of SSAH to host the Condoms (9-5) (1-2) who have only played 3 away games.  From what I found, we're 2-2 all time with USC having last met in 1974 in the infamous Bobby Knight despised Collegiate Commissioners Association Tournament championship game which we won 85-60.   USC averages 76 ppg shooting 47% / 34% / 75%.  They only turn it over 12/game and record 7 steals/game.  They average 32 reb/game matching their opponents average but their best rebounder is Saint Thomas at just 6/gm.  USC scoring leader is Desmond Claude at 14.9 ppg.   Out next game will be next Saturday on the road to face The Franimal.

It’s one of those guys. Whichever one said he had relatives in Indiana and liked IU basketball on one of the broadcasts. Maybe two years ago now.

Both of those guys are probably better than Hummel and Bardo at this point.
