Confused? In interview, he mentions the relationship he has built with CMW as a main factor in his commitment. Uhh...should someone pass him some notes on how to read the room with the current state of CMW and well sh!t.

1. Is this a Cem Dinc situation (old Mike Davis reference) or a Kasparas Jakucionis and Tomislav Ivisic situation like Illinois finds themselves in right now with legit good foreign older players?

2. Will this guy want to play for the (presumed) new coach next season or will the new coach even want him?

Nope, this is what you say. It means he has people around him who are smart enough to advise him to say nothing and get the interview over with.

1. If that’s a spectrum of result he’s closer to the Illinois kids than Dinc. 6’7” snipers who know how to play and can’t be left can help any team in any system.

Yeesh… you say that as if it’s a bad thing.

As long as Mike Woodson is still IU’s coach, I damn sure want him to proceed as though he intends to win every game and be the coach for the near and distant future.

When he’s not or has agreed to not be Coach anymore? That’s when it’s time to cease and desist.

I just read his commitment on Inside The Hall but what I found the most peculiar is the picture of him with the 3 assistant coaches and no Woodson.  Maybe I am reading too much into this, but odd nonetheless.

Need to keep in mind that he visited IU on Jan 9 when they beat USC.....so prior to the back-to-back 25 point losses.  Woodson's job might have looked a little safer then.
