Well boys... I don't think anyone truly expects us to win. And that's okay. We would still be 10-1 with a shot at the playoff. Don't make the playoff? That's okay. Still likely 11-1 going into a bowl game. That's pretty amazing y'all. Now if we do win.... I think Day gets fired.

It’s all good at this point!!   Playing with house $$$.  Next play…next game!  :)

I really think whoever controls the game at the line of scrimmage will win this game.

Our pass protection vs. Michigan in the second half concerned me. Rourke was under a lot of pressure and we looked a bit rattled and our passing game struggled. But the good news is that this was the first time all season we looked like that. And the first half of that game our pass protection was fine. So I am hopeful that a bye week to further prepare for another stout D-Line will help us be more effective. But a Michigan second-half O-Line performance won't be good enough in this game.

For the first time in my life, I actually think we have an advantage with our D-Line vs. their O-Line. Everyone talks about Mikail Kamara (which is deserved) but I feel CJ West deserves as much praise with how much attention he requires on the interior. Same goes for James Carpenter. The fact that Ohio State is a bit banged up on their O-Line makes me feel that we have a great opportunity here. If we can limit their run game and force them into regular passing downs that should allow us to release the hounds and create havoc. A forced fumble or interception could go a LONG way in this one.

I'll also say this... Will Howard doesn't scare me as their QB in the same way that CJ Stroud, Justin Fields, Dwayne Haskins, etc. did. Don't get me wrong... Howard is very good. But I don't see him making as many game-changing explosive plays like his predecessors did. I think we can hold serve there.

If we can eclipse the 30-point mark, I think we win this game. I really do.

Michigan also has the best pair of DTs in the country. Not that OSU doesn't have talent, but they certainly aren't Michigan's DTs.

Re: the couple posts above. Michigan’s DL is definitely superior to OSU’s in talent and production. Fumbles and sacks are lifting OSU’s numbers a bit and their pressure rate is pretty mid.

A game plus an extra 2 weeks of practice with the new OL lineup should have them in pretty good shape as a group. They handled Michigan pretty well without a bunch of reps together.

All that being said……..our DL has been better than both!

What if....

We keep them at 3rd and 6+ and we stay out of 3rd and 6+? The game within the game.

Early downs will be interesting. Mullings is really good (Edwards is terrible) and we handled them, but Judkins and Henderson are probably the two best backs we’ll see all year. Their OL issues should help with that.

I really think that center for OSU going down is going to be huge considering they already lost their two top left tackles. I've heard numerous folks nationally and OSU say it's a major loss. I'm no OLine expert but it's going to be hard to throw a new guy out there when they haven't played together. Pretty sure Kamara and Carpenter are on watch lists for their respective positional awards. Again, Kamara should be the B1G DPoy. Carpenter at least 2nd Team All-Big Ten. Add in CJ West too and I can see it being a long day for OSU.

OSU knows that... what wrinkle do they put in, a screen, a motion, a use of WR/H Back in the running game in a way we haven't seen... do they run Howard more tomorrow?

How quickly do our backers, safeties adjust to that, how well do we tackle, etc. Run fits will be huge. HUGE

The game within the game is just.... ahhhh can't beat it.

One thing for certain, Ohio State is not going to be surprised by IU giving them fire power motivation.

However, the same can be said for IU.

Lol; the underestimating of Indiana is real, but when we win in Columbus the national sports story will definitely not be about their center.

It will be about whether Indiana is going to end up as the national champion.

I can 100% guarantee ESPN will still talk crap about Indiana. Paul Finebaum will blow a gasket.

Agree.  Season is a massive success no matter what happens.  Will be hard not to be disappointed if it doesn’t go our way tomorrow.   My faith is in Cig.  This is a team of destiny.

Sure. Let them - like I give a sh!t.

And knowing that you are one of the thickest-skinned posters on the board, I'm pretty sure you also will not give a sh!t.

Not sure IU would get much in that scenario. Imagine they'll just move on to the B1G being overrated in general with some "edgy" talk about whether a 2 loss OSU should be automatic and Penn St catching the resulting strays.

Side note: certainly not wishing it on him, but a Finebaum aneurysm would raise the long-term quality of ESPN's broadcasts. Dude is utterly insufferable.

No I watch it everyday lol. I find absolute enjoyment out of it. And I get it, they get a check for a reason. But a great game will be great for Indiana. All I'm hoping for.

Surprised this game was not prime time....but I am glad in a way, no need for even more pressure on this team!

OSU fans are all mad because of it, I believe that is 6 straight noon games for them. Plus the atmosphere isn’t the best when it’s at noon according to them.

All the pressure is on OSU. Unless IU gets blown out, they should remain in the playoffs and continue the greatest season in IUFB history, that is unless PU pulls a crazy upset or keeps it close but I really doubt that since it's at home and sold out.

And PU is really, really bad this year. IU could probably sit all the starters and still blow out PU.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that I read that the replacement center started all their games last year.  Not that they won’t feel the loss, but just saying OSU has depth.  I think the D will cause the Suckeyes plenty of problems, no matter who is at center.  Say hello, Mr. Kamara.  :))
