Class of '66 Old Fart

IUFB vs Michigan - Saturday, 11.09.24 @ 3:30 on CBS-TV

Recommended Posts

Will be interesting to see the new rankings tomorrow.

So far, two teams above us -- Miami and Georgia -- have lost.

But we were a two-TD favorite and barely hung on ... at home.

Still, I would think we'd have to move up.

O-line was challenged today and didn’t make the grade.

They are what moves this team and will have to up their game 1000% to compete v OSU

Agreed but I will  make an excuse for them.

Michigan has two, and possibly three according to some, projected 1st round draft picks on the DL and we lost a starting OL a few days before the game.

Still a lot of football to go but it would be awfully sweet to move into one of the first round “at home” slots.  A playoff game in Bloomington…..just crazy!!!!

Gotta think we have to get to the Big Ten championship game to secure a top 8 seed. A loss to OSU probably means a road trip.

We have to keep in mind that Michigan's roster is full of 4 and 5 star players. Ours, not so much. Talent matters and so does coaching. I love beating these self entitled programs. I would have liked another blowout, but remember who we were last year compared to now. This was a great team win. We have a complete football team in all phases of the game. We'll go to OSU and play our ***** off. Win or lose this the best IU football team I have ever seen.

I think sometimes we lose site that teams have had ALL season to scout/watch our games to have the best chance to bring their A games, not to mention, extra motivation play a ranked IU team. Those things can definitely make a game seem closer than it should be.

I hate sunshine pumping!  But I agree with the pumpers here.  This gritty win will help us moving forward.  It tested my temper, but I'm happy to win this way.  Eff Michigan BTW.

10-0.  Wow.  Damn near guaranteed to make the playoffs now as long as we crush the Dumpsters as expected

Wondering how Ellison and Price are physically.  Ellison came back, but…hmmm?  Ke’Shawn Williams played a great game and helped with Price’s absence big time.

May not have made the tv broadcast, but Price walked off the field right near my seats.

He was fired up. Yanked his helmet off. Arms above his head pumping up the crowd. Walking full speed on his own. He may be in concussion protocol this week but he’s gonna be out there for OSU.
