FWIW, last year's SIEU team was 17-16 overall but just 2-13 on the road.  Pay close attention to SIEU's #24  6'10" Junior Kyle Thomas.  Yup!  Daryl's son.  The same Daryl Thomas that fed the ball to Keith Smart for the '87 NCAA championship winning basket and sadly who passed away far too soon.

From this morning's media meeting:

Mike Woodson on Kanaan Carlyle, says he hasn't practiced much but hopes he can go today. Says Newton was sore after playing, and Galloway "passed the test."

Looking to see

- Jakai and Gallo continuing to get their game legs back,

- better outside shooting and what sets / schemes are being run, to create perimeter movement and shots,

- how the team gets out in transition

- how well Tucker plays on the defensive side of the ball, how well he shoots within the schemes

- how balanced we look (or don't) between inside and outside play

Sad fact is that's what you have to do.  Can't be nice guys and keep the cupcake games somewhat close.  Need to instill the Cignetti killer instinct into our bball team.

We didn't let the cupcakes like Army stay close last year. We had to scramble hard to eke out a win.

I have 2 tickets and lot K parking pass for this game. I can't go, if interested message me.

Post them on the ticket board - my WBB post for the Harvard game is lonely.  LOL!

Connor Onion and Robbie Hummel for the SIEU game.

If we are forced to start this season listening to Hummel, I think the least the team can do to thank us, would be to win by 30+. Suppose I’ll be watching on mute while listening to Fisch.

He went from promising young analyst to whiney Purdue dork in like two years. Do you think other fan bases feel that way or is it just us?

I think we feel the most strongly about it, but I’ve seen it starting to shift on social media. Definitely agree it was promising early on. Maybe it’ll help if they come back to earth a bit.
