Popular Post Stuhoo Posted April 13, 2024 Popular Post Posted April 13, 2024 I don’t think it can be underestimated how massively important this addition to the Indiana Hoosiers is. A point guard that can score at all three levels. A true leader on and off the court. First team All PAC 12 and PAC 12 freshman of the year. Three years of college eligibility remaining. A truly mature personality, who has overcome extraordinary challenges, of which basketball challenges will pale in comparison. A player whose skill and leadership will attract other outstanding players of character to Indiana. Congratulations to the staff, especially Coach Ya, who got this player to believe in the plan and his role at Indiana University. This one is a really big deal. Ghost of Rick Majerus Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 As I mentioned in another thread, seems like a great basketball player and an ever better person. Happy he chose the Hoosiers. HoosierHoopster and lillurk 2 Quote
OKHOOSIER Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 This may be pure insanity on my part, but missing on ballo but getting rice and conwell is so much more exciting. That would be the best back court in CBB from the jump. IU - Kaulie 1 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I want to see guards penetrating and MM taking 7-8 threes a game on catch and shoot. Maybe a backcut from any player on the court?Maybe a baseline cut oppo from a guard drive? Kudos to Myles, Indiana, and Staff. If we get Ballo, Carlyle. Return TG, MR, MM. And add BT. Does the media respect Woodson enough to preseason rank that talent? Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners Jeff Flabjohns, 8bucks, Joe_hoopsier and 2 others 4 1 Quote
Trish Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 Better than what Indiana had this season by the looks of it. We’ll see how it translates to a better conference. Not to down play the first team selection. But the PAC 12 selects 10 to the first team. So weird. Goodbye to the Pac12! lillurk, WayneFleekHoosier and Stuhoo 3 Quote

Myles Rice as a freshman point guard was at the level on a 27 win team that Jalen Hood Schifino was at IU. Now we have that player a sophomore. Would you have liked a player of JHS’s accomplishments and talent to have returned as a sophomore? Yes. lillurk 1 Quote

Gathering the evidence to send to Scott when Indiana fails to make it to the second round again with “talent”. ;) We shall see what Rice can provide in a better conference and a completely odd style of play. I’m impressed a guard chose Indiana considering the circumstances! Congrats to the staff. IUGRAD06 and lillurk 2 Quote
