Thanks for opinions on Enright. I did notice his high assist numbers. I don’t need a point guard that scores a lot to be happy, but I would like someone who’s efficient when he does shoot. His numbers didn’t scream efficiency to me. 6.2 assts/3.1 TOs is ok, not great.
Other than familiarity with the system, seems like a kid we already have had in the program- Cupps.

Well he seems like a significantly better shooter than Cupps, his A/T ratio is considerably higher, as well. They don't seem all that alike to me. They are both about 6ft and white though, it seems their similarities stop there.

Cupps eFG%- 44%-- not good

Enright eFG% for his career--- 52.8% very good

Again I think its about the pieces you put around Enright. I get it , its been difficult watching Purdue have Smith for the last 3 years and us not really having a true scoring PG since Yogi but again we probably already have our leading scorer with Tucker.

to compete at Big ten Level we really are in need of an athletic scoring wing at the 3. Dix would fit that or a Jaden Akins / AJ Storr at  Wisconsin type of player. pair that with a knock down 3 pt shooter at 2 and were rolling

Enright would be a solid starting PG IMO . Experienced, takes care of the basketball, and can play defense cutting off straight line drives and drawing charges

That's a nice hook!

And I would assume Kory Barnett should be a lock to join the IU staff.

Unless he gets his own head coaching gig.  Sounds like he is in the mix for Oral Roberts

I believe someone said his brother was an IU grad too.

Feels like Enright to IU is a natural; maybe even more so than Powell.

I'm encouraged that he shot the ball well when he was with CDD at Drake, and he certainly learned to play with the ball in his hands last year. He also shouldn't be a budget buster.

At 34 years of age? That's pretty impressive.

He has a spot to come be on the staff if he wants it, but no guarantees there. He and Nick Davidson are very close, and would put IU in the driver's seat if he indeed joins DeVries' staff

Can Tucker play the 3 then?
