if our lead guard is a distributor and rebounder I'll take it.  if our 2-4 positions can stroke the 3 ball with a pass first point guard I'll take it.  If our center can be a menace around the rim both as a rebounder and shot blocker I will take it.  I just hope our center can shoot a little further out than Oumar could.  I assume Reed is our starting 4 right now?

Generally agree. However some talent surpasses experience. Rare, but possible.

Anyone is still going to take and pay big for the Flaggs, Zellers, ADs, Gordons, etc…

But at this point they might as well make the 5* rankings about 3 kids every year. The Mbakos and Tuckers of the world will eventually not get paid like proven 22yr olds who can help immediately.

Think Reed is the 5 and TDV is the 4 right now.

The route to probably go is to get 3 stars with a higher ceiling and hope you can keep them multiple years.

I could see that being the case.  I would like to have a bruiser down low though whether that be first big off of the bench or start bailey at the 4 as a 3 pt threat.

My guess you will see Bailey at the 5 some and 4 some and Tucker at the 4 some and 3 some.  Outside of players like a pure 5 or a pure point guard, no one plays a single position anymore.

Highly recommend listening to the latest Podcast on the Brink podcast by Inside the Hall. Goes over Florida and Houston’s portal recruiting and how you don’t need 4 and 5 star players. There was more 0 star players in the national championship game than 4 star players. Need experience and players that have produced at other schools.

Mike Woodson would disagree. More stars = less coaching.

Jeff Teague disagrees with Mike Woodson.  Jeff Teague said Mike Woodson was his worst NBA coach

And no one with a brain could argue against Jeff Teague’s position.

This is just 1 of many red flags which should have excluded him from being hired in the first place. He didn't change at all from his time in the NBA.
