Yeah I've got concerns about his efficiency. I still have PTSD from the Devonte Green years.

Devonte Green years were also Archie Miller years.

If we don't have a coach that can effectively use players in their system it's all futile.

Reasonably optimistic that we will have our 'alpha' players and after that the system will then be critical.

Historically we have had coaches just keep the players. I think Archie kind of got away from the type of kids that made him successful at Dayton. It was why I was like let them all leave and get players that fit what you are trying to accomplish.

Rob Wright would obviously be amazing, but very unrealistic.
Duke, UNC, a loaded $EC school probably all going to be bidding for him

So he doesn't have IU interest right? Just curious.

If it's a bidding war, why would an SEC school have a better chance than us?

I’d be pretty surprised if he decided to sign with a team having to rebuild their whole roster and w/ a new head coach. Kid is going to have all the options in the world to choose from

Saw a tweet UConn is the earlier favorite for him…. Lmao Mullins/Adams have to be getting at least a little irritated if it comes to fruition

Not doubting you saw a tweet saying that… I just don’t see how that could happen since they have Silas Demary coming in and Solo Ball coming back. No way either of them or Wright comes off the bench IMO. I’m not very high on Adams… but Hurley is definitely upgrading the backcourt after the Mahaney experience

paywall but it’s Wilkerson, I personally enjoy the reassurance, keep them coming all week haha

Supposedly done like Rice and Carlyle were done last year.  Still makes me nervous though because he’s well sought after and I wouldn’t be shocked if teams continue to probe until committed.  He mostly makes me feel better about Conwell.  And that’s nice.

Armchair QB take of the day: start at 2M and go up to 3.5M for Rob Wright lol. He’s that good.

How quickly things change.

Doesn't seem that long ago when Oscar Tshiebwe's $2M NIL deal at UK was dropping jaws.

Now the market is on steroids, and the best are getting well beyond that. What a time to be alive.

Is done but not committed yet basically a verbal?  I agree many others will likely be coming after him.  I wonder if he has a no-contact posting on his portal info

Need to get this guy in witness protection, or some sort of safe house until he can get on campus.

Trilly updated and apparently these are the true early schools to look for

Florida, Nova, Duke, BYU, St. Johns, UNC

Yea.  Heck I remember it was pretty widely reported that Anthony Davis got $200-300K to go to UK.  What a great deal for UK back then.  AD would be $4M+ today...

He was on a team that went to the F4 yes. He’s also been on multiple teams that have finished dead last in their conference.

Your point?

So did Anthony Walker.
