I believe Tucker’s field goals count the same as anyone else’s.

Why go overboard to ignore the obvious? Tucker is his son. No one is saying he isn’t good - he should be assuming he’s back to 100%. But that’s not winning a portal commitment and getting guys who are being recruited by other teams, to get the ball rolling, is important

If that happens, then he won’t get much playing time. People think we are going to run 13 players out there with equal playing time? Yeah, your watching videos and stats is much better than what DeVries sees in this kid.

Yep. Lots of coaches make comfort moves. Blinded by connections and previous relationships.

Archie and Woodson made bad moves constantly and I’ve called out many of them before the coach realized it was a problem. I’m confident in my analysis of talent. A scrawny 6’0” guard that can’t hit free threes, therefore his three point shooting will ALWAYS be streaky. He can’t drive in the B1G. He’ll struggle to defend. He’ll struggle to create offensive advantages without an explosive first step.

People need to realize that just looking at stats doesn't always show the whole picture. I believe in intangibles and leadership are key in having a winning team. I think Enright has both of those qualities

One thing Coach DD needs is someone who has been there with him.  Knows his system, his expectations, and can help others get over that hump, so to speak.

Have you applied for a position with IU? With your scouting and film watching acumen, could use you. They are cleaning house so now is the time.

Pulled some analytics on Conor Enright. It’s not pretty, but hey, you need some bench kids as Indiana currently only has walk-ons.

…..sounds like he just wants to play where he is needed and knows his role. That’s my kind of IU player!

I'm baffled by these type of responses. Of course you're allowed to feel however you'd like.

This player was literally coached by DDV, though. I would assume that someone who actually saw him play every. Single. Day. Knows exactly what he will bring to the court and knows exactly what his strengths (and limitations) are.

Like I said before some just like to *****

Right? I wonder how much bringing in a player like Enright (along with his son) is for helping to smooth the transition of implementing his system (and culture) with an entirely new roster?

I’m giving very specific reasons why I don’t think it’s a good addition. I’ve listed 5 or 6 game scouted reasons I don’t like it. I don’t like to *****. I want to feel like the program I love just made a strong move and celebrate the hell out of it.

Our program has given us ample reasons to complain over the years. And I’ve complained about a lot of it, for years.

I’ve wanted a great guard for 20 years. Doesn’t need to be a 20 point per game guy. I look at both sides of the ball. In a point guard it’s Defense, Ball handling, Free Throws. Those are the 3 keys. People have talked about his defense but I don’t think those people have watched his games.
