You should get your kid at IU to tryout to be the mascot :) That would be a cool experience to run around in that costume. A grad student of mine was Depaul’s Blue Demon and he loved it.

I don't think he would like that. But I did hear that the Bison will have like 8 different costumes all made by Disney, will have an outfit for every sport, and will jump out of an airplane for the first football game.

I've heard there's also going to be multiple mascots and multiple names so nothing would surprise me. IU may just have a whole herd of bison mascots.

Anyone volunteering anyone else to wear the Bison suit was not in the stands for the Charlotte game last season.

Ha.  IU moves so slow sometimes.  For example, right now on the IUBB website, the only coaches we have listed are CDD and Nick Norton.  They actually have a completed page for Kenny (not linked up properly to the website though), a picture of Drew Adams but no bio (also not linked up), and nothing for Rod, Bargen, Sturtz, or Horn.  Also, no players are listed (other schools have their transfers listed).

This isn't a big deal, but you kinda want your program all laid out nicely on your website for reference and marketing.  Players should be up with social media and NIL links.  Come on IU!

Maybe everyone in the athletic dept was working on the bison mascot rollout.

The rumor started from someone from our marketing group that was talking with the photographer of the photoshoots. It stated on Trilly’s Discord. He said the guy said it was 1000% positive it was a 6’8” male, not the female visiting.  FWIW.  No name though.

There is a WV poster that’s lurking that thinks IU is involved or talking to him right now as well.  He is the one that brought it to the board and then the photoshop thing popped up.

Trilly Discord.  He was the one that mentioned it then a mysterious 6’8” recruit getting pics.  He just came back yesterday asking about IU and Hawthorne.  Rabjohns made a comment dismissing it then changed it.  He then immediately followed Hawthorne afterwards.  Nobody knows what is happening on that recruitment it seems and it’s gone silent.

Hawthorne makes a lot of sense. I hope he looks into RSing, but geeeshh... that would be a great pickup, I was a little surprised/bummed out we weren't mentioned earlier, but that could have been for a multitude of reasons, IMO.

Neoklis will most likely end up at a smaller high major like VT.   He is requesting a ton of usage and is gearing up for next years draft is what a European analyst is saying.
