Yet, he put his head down, busted his @$$ for 5 years, and became a quality defender in this league all while he and his teammates were mercilessly dragged all year. He deserved better. Quote

They still made a conscious choice to play for him for a bag. They knew they wouldn’t go pro and it was too big a payday to turn down. Plus they love IU so much. Who wouldn’t as a student athlete with NIL money? Lol. They are Woody guys. I’d like a fresh start. Best for all parties. IUGRAD06, jonz44, AZ Hoosier and 1 other 3 1 Quote

I get you like him, probably from a distance, okay that's fine too. Ha. What a strawman. I didn't call him a henchman, nor did I villainize him. Yep, bash the fanbase. ”Adversity is part of sports, and for those of you who are so quick to give up and call for quits and everything, there's a reason that you guys aren't coaches. So relax. There's no other coach in the country that I would trust with anything in my life than coach Woodson, and there's no other university I'd want to represent. So we're gonna run it back, but you guys gotta chill." Thanks so much for “running it back” chill guy Leal, the missed tournament and regular blowout losses sure proved the fanbase wrong. jonz44, Mopladysman, Jeff Flabjohns and 2 others 5 Quote

This all manifested when in his third year he was ranked around #100 in the country with top-15 resources, and in his 4th year he took top-5 NIL and missed the tournament. Was it all his fault, no. But if he was a leader on last year’s team he was either a poor leader in where he chose to lead them, or an ineffective leader in not getting much of the team to follow him. Thanks to Tony for his effort on the court, but it’s time for something different. CSP and Napleshoosier 2 Quote

I like Harris and Alexis over Fed all day every day. Fed is a known quantity, well understood limitations on his game, but would fit a needed role and bring size. Harris has three years and could be a high upside player. Like Stu said, kind of guy that DDV can say “make me play you 25mpg kid” … and Alexis brings championship experience, probably capable of playing the same back up big role Fed would, possibly better in DDV’s scheme. Getting two for equal or less than the price of one seems logical especially when one has 3 years left and the other is fresh off a title. I like the personnel choices so far. Would like to see one more big guy for depth. Goode or a young developmental guard too. Ctf9, Napleshoosier and thebigweave 3 Quote
